  1. Basically the QB has to chuck it into the first row of seats for the refs to declare that nowadays.
  2. I know it was a chipper, but Pitt doesn’t have its normal kicker, fwiw.
  3. they certainly can’t run the ball so that’s good for us
  4. Game moving a little too fast for this play by play guy huh
  5. It is a story he’s shared before - I believe the only hint he’s ever given was it wasn’t Bonds.
  6. Gameplan, opportunities, etc... “but but but KC does it” isn’t a very valid complaint.
  7. I see 4 **** teams and the steelers. Not worried.
  8. So you’ve id’ed all his strengths and weaknesses, and you can’t figure him out 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
  9. Rolled his ankle...came back all good. What’s the problem?
  10. People still go to ESPN for anything football related..yikes.
  11. From the little we’ve seen of him, Wade looks very fast, along with some of that rugby elusiveness. I think his best chance to secure a spot is as a special teams player. I hope they give him a legitimate shot next year, but he’ll need to beat out guys much more seasoned than him.
  12. Hyde looks nothing like Poyer. Whatever just a brain fart I suppose.
  13. So somewhat saner heads prevailed and Pitt/Bal is moved to Sunday. Can’t see how 3 days can make much of a difference for the Ravens but I suppose we’ll see.
  14. “Stalling the game” is not the purpose of the tactic, it’s a consequence. The purpose is to gain possession back as soon as possible.
  15. it’s a tough problem to solve for sure. I’ve heard what you’ve suggested before and i’m not entirely against it. I guess it’s good to remember that the intentional fouls go hand in hand with a winning team intentionally trying to dribble out the clock. If that (valid) strategy didn’t exist then the fouling wouldn’t either. There is no victory formation, kneel on the ball option in basketball.
  16. Purposely obfuscating their policies serves a purpose - if the exact details aren’t widely known, the league is free to change them as they see fit without a mass of reporters and fans asking questions or calling them out.
  17. Look, i can’t believe i am commenting on this but: No, darnold is probably done with the Jets but he’s going to go to somewhere like Indy or Tampa or even Vegas before he’d ever be signed here. The amount of avoidable press BS alone would be enough to dissuade Beane from ever even considering it. bye weeks, man.
  18. Bye week doesn’t mean you post constant survey posts bro my goodness. At least you put some thought into this one.
