  1. Says the Jet fan with 1,000 fewer posts than me. Keep going boss. Sad because you can’t understand basic math? Because you keep proving it.
  2. good. Couldn’t have happened to a worse team or fanbase. Stumbling backward into juuuust enough competency to fry your future at QB is exactly what the Jets deserve.
  3. We are trying to tell you mathematically your terrible team was not out of the running until today and you are clearly too dense to comprehend this. Enjoy your stay chief.
  4. not favored, but not out of the running. Shocking you don’t even know the odds.
  5. pittman did have a step on his defender a few minutes ago and rivers overthrew him
  6. Defense has been the playing just fine, no need for this guy.
  7. right I got you. It’s just not realistic. Reminds me of the poster about a month back who claimed Duke Williams was also just primed to convert to tight end and we wouldn’t miss a step. Dude can’t even play his primary position well but let’s just convert him to TE because...he’s tall(ish), I guess? (Duke is 6’2”.)
  8. think he can put on the weight necessary to play effective TE? To put it in perspective, looking at other primarily pass catching tight ends, Kelce is listed at 260, Waller 255, Engram 240. All are comparable in height.
  9. i’m not saying your idea is bad or anything, I just don’t see them messing with the current situation just to get a cursory look at Fromm. I wouldn’t be opposed to them trying it though.
  10. fromm will stay the quarantined emergency QB.
  11. Seeing that grammar in the title by a guy trying to clown on Jets fans 👌 couldn’t have scripted it better.
  12. awesome. This is the only thing I think of when I hear that word now. Karl Urban is great.
  13. nothing new that I’ve heard - beyond the vague statements after the game that it wasn’t serious.
  14. That may work for the stadium lots sure. I’m sure there are several ways to go about cleanly enforcing it. My only point was you just cannot trust the fans alone to behave. Even a relatively limited number of them if they are thinking of allowing 10-12,000 or whatever it may be. People will be too amped up.
  15. and how are they going to enforce that plan? How about on the private lots around the stadium? Does their plan involve saying “pretty please don’t get blitzed and act ridiculous at the first playoff game here in 25 years?” Or are there other steps in the plan?
  16. One would think, unless Shad forgets he owns the team.
  17. so Brady was the best QB in the game all 19 years he was in NE? It’s a “fact” he was better than Peyton, better than Rodgers, better than Brees every single year over his run with the Pats? it’s true the best QB doesn’t always win the Super Bowl every year, but you sure chose a weak way to back that up.
  18. And that’s cool, if all involved were cool with that sort of stuff. But “personal choice” only extends so far. I don’t have a problem with people going down there at all, just commenting on some of the things others saw and noted earlier in the thread.
  19. The “wrong” of it, which you seem to be struggling with, is how some of them expressed their emotion - the banging on cars and yelling through windows (maskless, to boot). There’s nothing wrong with getting emotional about it, just how a few of them expressed it. Hey, I’ve seen worse first hand - downtown Boston after their first Brady SB win was criminal pandemonium. But reining in the bad actors, or at least pointing them out, should be what responsible fans do.
