  1. Run by the Associated Press every year. 50 voters, they vote for the best player at each position. Top vote getters are 1st team, 2nd place vote getters are 2nd team. Much more legitimate than, say, pro bowl voting.
  2. what does what mean? The all-pro team?
  3. no disagreement from me. Some of these voters don’t take things like that into account is all. Or they think a shiny double digit interception count supersedes that.
  4. eh Howard was the interception leader that probably influenced them.
  5. fair enough. Wawrow tweeted the vote breakdown Kamara did get 3 votes at RB.
  6. vacant because Kelce received all 50 votes at TE.
  7. Awesome. Also I see that Donald and T. Kelce were the only two unanimous 1st team all-pros. I’ve no issue with those two, but I gotta wonder - which of these 50 voters did not have Derrick Henry as 1st team at running back? He is absolutely a unanimous 1st teamer. Crazy who they give these votes to.
  8. Exactly right and this is why you’ll see more of what is now being reported today: Colts DC Eberflus turned down a HC interview with the Texans. The consequences of this inexcusable mismanagement won’t end with Watson.
  9. “Where does it stop”.... ”A line has to be drawn somewhere”.... Your words. What would you call it? So yeah, seriously.
  10. It starts and ends with the owner keeping his word and not alienating his top employee. That’s it. You bending over backwards trying to find a slippery slope isn’t fooling anyone. There isn’t one in this case. The owner (again, allegedly) went back on his word. He’s an imbecile.
  11. ok guy. Did the board explicitly tell you they were going to consult with you before hiring the CEO and then just change their mind and hire Akers?
  12. Uh, the OP states that Watson wants a trade, not that he’ll definitely get one. So you can “be kind” but the bases for these rumors that @Alphadawg7 cited are way better sourced than you jack.
  13. No such things as curses friend. Even if they’re were, I’d say Mahomes broke that last year.
  14. someone would most certainly pay that for Watson. defense is definitely a problem but they have more than enough problems on the offensive side of the ball too. No running game to speak of. Watson was sacked 49(!) times this season.
  15. I mean, I’m sure they don’t want to trade him, but you’re 100% right on the stupid part. A series of actions by the team leadership led to this.
  16. well if you look above it wasn’t just about the GM search, it was the coaching interviews as well. Look do I think it’s a good idea to consult with players on front office/coaching hires? In most cases probably not. Watson’s case is a bit different because he’s a sure fire franchise QB with a big contract. In any case however, the team (allegedly) made assurances to him that he’d be consulted on these things, and then Cal and Easterby turn around and hire another Patriots flunky without even running it by Watson. He has a legit gripe. Ownership there is incompetent, and this Easterby fraud has poisoned the well even further. Don’t think the Texans are going to budge, but I hope Watson gets his way. Texans are a tire fire.
  17. Well stinks for them. Should be able to beat Pitt without Stefanski though.
  18. because Lynn’s bizarre decisions and horrid choices at certain unit coaches left Spanos and the GM no choice.
  19. yeah it doesn’t seem like a great situation there and it starts at the top. The Bowlen kids and the ownership trust are at each other’s throats. Elway is taking full advantage of the disarray.
  20. He’s getting promoted, but it also sounds like he’s relinquishing some decision making on football matters to this new GM.
  21. yeah because that’s what the Bills should be doing with amazing talent at QB and WR - running more and throwing more swing passes.
  22. Not a unique opinion I know, but this is 100% a terrible idea.
  23. it’s a lowbrow meme. He’s basically saying it’s dumb thing to say. The self-ownage by the OP is strong in this thread. Between this, his hilariously misspelled and mis-capitalized topic title, and calling other people dummies, he outdid himself. 👌 @DeltaDigital
  24. Allen is being “brought up” in the MVP conversation. He is going to get votes. Probably not enough to win, but he is 100% getting recognition.
  25. well there’s that, plus incompetent ownership who promoted a crook team chaplain to head football ops, plus a respected HOF veteran calling out his teammates publicly for not trying. So yeah they got some issues.
