  1. it’s a tough problem to solve for sure. I’ve heard what you’ve suggested before and i’m not entirely against it. I guess it’s good to remember that the intentional fouls go hand in hand with a winning team intentionally trying to dribble out the clock. If that (valid) strategy didn’t exist then the fouling wouldn’t either. There is no victory formation, kneel on the ball option in basketball.
  2. Purposely obfuscating their policies serves a purpose - if the exact details aren’t widely known, the league is free to change them as they see fit without a mass of reporters and fans asking questions or calling them out.
  3. Look, i can’t believe i am commenting on this but: No, darnold is probably done with the Jets but he’s going to go to somewhere like Indy or Tampa or even Vegas before he’d ever be signed here. The amount of avoidable press BS alone would be enough to dissuade Beane from ever even considering it. bye weeks, man.
  4. Bye week doesn’t mean you post constant survey posts bro my goodness. At least you put some thought into this one.
  5. I agree with this. It’s a different situation than the one Yolo brought up. Peterman (and Tyrod) weren’t first round picks. I dont think screwing with your potential franchise QB’s head is worth a possible comeback win against the broncos. Once you pull the trigger (they may have too early) just roll with it, unless your getting so thoroughly dominated that it’s an injury risk leaving him out there.
  6. This is right. They do have a stellar defensive end in Garrett, but overall the unit isn’t that great.
  7. Jackson is dependent on having an excellent offensive line. Every QB needs at least a decent one, mind you, but Jackson and the playbook Roman has built around Jackson is dependent on excellent OL play. They’ve been decimated by retirements and injuries. I think the ravens are cooked this year.
  8. Exactly. And here’s my (admittedly, very thin) theory on this - maybe Fitz still has a better grasp on the full playbook than Tua? I know, by week 11 even a rookie should know the whole playbook and gameplan but I am just speculating here. Otherwise why take him out outside of pure desperation? Flores doesn’t seem like the type of coach to do that.
  9. Herbert looks extremely good so far. Again, as with Tua, I am hesitant to judge any of them this early. People did that with Allen and look what happened. The rocket TD herbert threw to Allen today tho...👀👀👀 so maybe there are chinks in the armor of “coach of the year” Flores you say? 🤔
  10. He certainly has. And “getting better right now” could have involved a bunch of different changes that didn’t include benching fitz, who was playing very well at the time. Now they’ve driven the first dagger into this kid’s confidence for really very little reason. Sure you want to beat Denver and stay on pace with the Bills but is being one game back (plus a half with the Bills’ tiebreaker) that bad a situation?
  11. So like Lamar then
  12. Well, this helps. Way to grind it out Denver.
  13. Good. I hope he throw’s for 4 yards an attempt again.
  14. aha i suppose we’ll never know
  15. Yes because a team that’s gonna lose to the 3-6 broncos has a lot of “easy” wins coming up...😂
  16. Nothing on twitter at least about him getting banged up in any way. Think it was a straight up benching
  17. Unfortunately I think he does.
  18. a freakin’ ROCKET
  19. Chargers are so snakebitten it’s sick. True choke artistés.
  20. He was always tough to project coming from out west. Happy for the kid though.
  21. No, really. The fact you want to dig that hole a little deeper doesn’t change anything.
  22. Guess you have a very narrow definition of praise then
