  1. That was what, 40 yards? I think we're talking about about true deep shots.
  2. A lot of fans are comfortable with just being really good and maybe lucking into an SB win at some point. Those who really want to go for it, like KC and TB are, are concerned, because it appears we're not going for it.
  3. Ruthless acquisition of talent, cap be damned. Chiefs are in Super Bowl or bust mode. Are the Bills? It doesn't seem like it. I don't think the Chiefs can afford him any more than the Bills could have, and he probably would have helped the Bills more.
  4. Future cut, nothing to see here
  5. This would be a helluva early give-up on Moss. He's supposed to be an all-around back, too.
  6. Marlowe is probably hoping for a better opportunity after being stuck behind Poyer and Hyde for so long. If I had ambitions to start, I probably wouldn't re-sign here.
  7. Romo was bad last year. It does seem like he's not trying.
  8. Universal chorus of Steelers fans on Twitter saying he's terrible. For what that's worth.
  9. The Bills are at the stage where their focus needs to be on ruthless acquisition of talent. We're not just trying to be good. We're on the cusp of winning a Super Bowl, and we need to act like it. Make it seem unfair. That's how you get over the top.
  10. I literally said it's a good signing and praised it earlier in the thread. All I did here was state a fact about next offseason.
  11. So, Hughes, Addison, and Obada are all UFAs in 2022. Yikes.
  12. So unless the Bills plan to cut Hughes, Epenesa, Addison, or Obada, that's probably it for defensive end this year. With Epenesa improving, Addison playing on a 1-year deal, and Obada likely being an improvement over Murphy, I think we can reasonably hope for the pass rush to be at least somewhat improved.
  13. Good signing. Is a rookie going to come in and post more than 5.5 sacks? I doubt it.
  14. Drafted Fromm for no reason I suppose?
  15. So the standard for you is just running it back and losing to the Chiefs again? It really seems like people lose sight of the goal as we get further removed from the end of the season.
  16. McKenzie was here last year. He doesn't add speed. Also, he's not a deep speed/scare the defense type of player. He has some lateral quickness.
  17. Thank you. The inconvenient truth. Everyone seems to be forgetting why we lost to the Chiefs. They said we need to improve our speed, but it's only gotten slightly worse by replacing Brown with Sanders. We need dynamic weapons to go blow for blow with Tyreek Hill.
  18. So far we have a net loss of speed on offense. How will they improve?
  19. No, he didn't. The thread title literally means he voluntarily left his job.
  20. And that's what Beane does: fills all the holes with adequate players before the draft.
  21. Knox, Hollister, Gilliam, Sweeney is a full room. It might not be as dynamic as we'd like, but it's a full room and a decent room. Probably a bit better than last year. Need to add a dynamic speed weapon somewhere, whether it's at RB, WR, or TE. And we need McKenzie back.
  22. This guy is annoying, and he doesn't scare me on the football field at all. He's a generic #2 receiver.
  23. Interesting that Beane said yesterday that they don't have an in-house answer for PR/KR right now.
  24. Where are you seeing pictures?
