Wow, that is incredibly flaky for them to announce tickets go on sale tonight at 8:00, when opening day tickets are actually available now. A lot of people who properly followed the guidance are going to miss out.

Bears on SNF is the ultimate buzz kill. I don't think anyone outside of Chicago wants to watch them. Do they really get higher ratings? Why not pick a more intriguing team to play @LAR? Isn't Dalton the presumed starter? Seems like a real dud of a matchup. Bills fans: if recent history holds, Bills will be wearing all white and the Steelers will be in black. Pretty depressing for home opener. Really wish we would go back to our traditional home colors.

Someone made the point on WGR that even going back to his Carolina days, McDermott has always just had a "get by" guy at CB2. It's strange, but there's enough proof in the pudding at this point that we shouldn't expect significant investment in the position. It's puzzling, because you feel like it would make a big difference, but McDermott seems to want to coach 'em up and strongly believes in his ability to do so. We have gone into every season under McDermott with low numbers at CB and a "Yikes" scenario if White goes down. At this point, it seems that it's a fact of life with this regime.

Keep speaking truth. This post is dripping with it. Homers just don't want to hear it.

Lotulelei and Phillips will be fine this year. That's a plug and play position that will be easy to fill next year if necessary. Not a need.

What speed options are left in either medium?

To everyone rolling their eyes at me... the Bills have a slow offense. Slow backfield and no speed at WR. McKenzie isn't fast; he's somewhat quick. What is your solution??? This need seems so obvious and makes such a huge difference.

Well. Despite McD and Beane saying they need to add speed on offense to compete with the Chiefs, it appears they are out of options. In fact, speed on offense only got worse by replacing Brown with Sanders. Unbelievable

Fact: we drafted a backup offensive lineman with starting -- possible star -- CBs on the board. McDermott continues to put low priority on CB talent.

Disagree. He's an outside guy with buildup speed. We need a space guy.

The Bills should trade up into the third for two more picks tonight. They need a CB and an offensive speed guy.

McDermott has consistently gone light on CBs and seems confident in his ability to coach them up. It's frustrating, but it seems to be a reality of this regime.
