For the record, as someone who would love him to take a team-friendly deal, I would be ECSTATIC if it's the same as the Mahomes deal. That is what I mean by a team-friendly deal. What would be a disaster for us is if he signs as #1 QB contract and it doesn't have the flexibility that Mahomes' does. Trying to trust Beane to execute something similar or better than Mahomes'.

Then we better win the Super Bowl this year, because we sure as hell aren't winning it if we're paying one player that kind of money. We better not pay him any extra $ until his current contract is over. If we do, we're essentially just throwing away our best chance to win a Super Bowl. Isn't that what it's all about? Not saying I want to do this with Allen, but some team sometime is going to draft a stud rookie QB, keep him for 4 years + the 5th option year, and then let him go, having used a 1st-round pick on a replacement the year prior. It makes too much sense for some bold team to not make a habit of this.

I mean, based on every indication we have about Josh Allen, if anyone in the NFL would ever take a team-friendly deal, it would be him. So you're pretty much saying that no one ever takes team-friendly deals. Mahomes did, and I don't think he's quite the person Allen is. For what it's worth, Eric Wood said on WGR today that McDermott and Beane both told him they recognize that they are in a window with Josh on his rookie deal and they need to win now.

Would have been 35-0 at beginning of fourth quarter if: *Davis catches TD that went through his hands *Wind doesn't kill deep ball to Diggs *Campbell doesn't deflect third-down conversion to Beasley before the half, where we likely score a third TD in hurry up, making it 21-0 (BAL has no time to drive for FG)

And how soon did he come back from this? BTW why does he look so huge in his college footage? -
Mahomes concussion updates

Mahomes' status hanging in the balance is a big advantage for the Chiefs. Bills players will be hoping all week he won't play, and then he'll probably be cleared late in the week. This will be a psychological hurdle and a challenge for the coaching staff. My advice is to prepare exclusively for Mahomes and tell the players HE'S PLAYING.- 322 replies

Lamar Jackson's Charity
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to Dr Krentist's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, I came here to make the point about Josh Norman's cause as well. It really makes no sense that no one cares about that--helping local people--but these things with opponents' charities explode. It's embarrassing and makes me feel bad for Norman. -
The Bills Learned a Lot From Two Brutal Losses

I think he's referring to the Texans as the Steers -
The last time the Bills were in the AFC Championship game, I was 5 and just barely, vaguely remember that win over Joe Montana and the Chiefs. But the Divisional the week before is one that I actually remember a lot, because I remember that I was allowed to have two Oreos after Sunday dinner, which I did. Then I was sitting on the couch with my brothers, wrapped in a yellow blanket and watching the game, when I decided I wanted a third Oreo. Knowing I wasn't allowed, I chose to go downstairs and lie to my mom, telling her I had only had one. I then remember getting a chair, reaching up into the cupboard, and grabbing the Oreo. I felt so guilty. And before yesterday, that was the last time the Bills advanced to the title game.
