  1. I was overweight my entire life (still am, actually, but not grossly) and it wasn't until my early thirties that I learned to stop blaming my genetics. So while it does take a ton of effort for me to get in and remain in shape and I agree that many have no idea what it's like, the fact is that I was being lazy by choosing not to put in the work. You can choose to be a victim or a winner.
  2. You completely owned me with this post. You're absolutely right.
  3. If you are fat, you are one of two things: lazy or disabled. There is no in between.
  4. Come to think of it, even just the other day McDermott made the comment that screaming at someone probably isn't conducive to a good work environment.
  5. This seems like much more than difference of opinion in terms of coaching philosophy. I recall after 2020 it seemed like McDermott was annoyed that Daboll didn't get a head coaching job. It raised a red flag for me at that time. It seemed like he was ready to move on. Other thoughts that come to mind... Perhaps Daboll was angry with McDermott over 13 seconds. Someone on X said there were rumors that Daboll let McDermott have it afterwards, which would make sense given that Daboll had just overseen a legendary offensive performance and then McDermott ruined it, robbing Daboll of the chance to win a Super Bowl for his hometown team and for Josh on his way out. Someone else suggested that Daboll made a power play for the head coaching job in Buffalo after 13 seconds. Yet another suggested that McDermott is jealous of the love that players clearly have for Daboll, which they absolutely do not have for McDermott. Something else I thought of is that this might have something to do with the fight to secure Dorsey's services. As I recall, both McDermott and Daboll wanted him. There could be a lot of layers to this onion. Yesterday, McDermott said that he respects Daboll "as a coach," and there was something there to suggest that he was subtly saying that is the only manner in which he respects him.
  6. Von Miller is a liability out there. Rushing wide and opening up a gaping hole on every play.
  7. PFF has him graded as a WR1. 😏
  8. The Chiefs have been doing this for years. This is the best post in the thread. Great post and exactly the right perspective.
  9. The Bills will be in the playoffs. I've come to believe the location of the game and the opponent don't really matter.
  10. Excellent point that I almost brought up in my post. It sounds different when Mahomes and the Chiefs win these.
  11. It was a tough situation. Both choices can be argued for and against.
  12. The Bills won. It didn't look anything like we hoped or expected, but they won. Bills Mafia and the media are responding like it's a loss. Tony Dungy remarked postgame that Josh Allen sounded like a quarterback who lost. There was a lot of talk about the Bills possibly benefiting from less pressure this year, but I don't think that's the case. I think there's a lot of internal and external pressure on this team to not only win but also win big and pretty. I'm not sure this feeling exists in other NFL cities. I think we might need an attitude adjustment, or the weight of expectations could undo this team.
  13. I think the Bills are going to get up in this one and then just keep running the ball to avoid embarrassing Daboll as much as possible. NYG 16 BUF 41
  14. I was doing everything I possibly could to reverse jinx, but it didn't work.
  15. Daboll returning, Tyrod starting... A magical night in Buffalo for the Giants?
  16. Sabres still suck I guess. In other news, water is wet
  17. It's so true. The question is... Is it worth it? I have been wrestling with this for some time. What?
  18. I learned that lesson the hard way myself. Best of my life, though. This is crazy because I literally just finished a massive project on workplace romance yesterday. Wait, it was Hall? Isn't she like 30 years younger than Brandon? And isn't he short?
  19. There is nothing special about Zack Moss. He is an average NFL running back.
  20. Is it true that they are now hotter and juicier or is it all a lie?
  21. If I'm not mistaken, league wide, only one player has come back to play the next week after a concussion.
  22. The Chiefs last year did the same soft rebuild that the Bills need to do and won the Super Bowl.
