  1. On reflection, there is literally no way we lose that game if it's a regular home game in Buffalo. I'm pissed.
  2. This is ridiculous. Look back at the '90s Bills actual game-by-game results. You would have wanted to fire Marv Levy, too.
  3. Of course it's nothing serious when it's the Chiefs. Never is. Meanwhile, Bills have three stars go down to season-enders in 2 weeks.
  4. Just because that happened doesn't mean other things didn't also happen.
  5. This is a stupid question. The answer is because the fans have invested decades in the team and have no control over whether or not the ultimate goal is achieved.
  6. We were playing the Bengals at home last year and it didn't mean crap.
  7. I told everyone this was coming and everyone ridiculed me as if my suggestions were completely preposterous. The Bills are a historically great team, and that didn't change today. Look back at the '90s Bills. There were always games like this, and today's result had a lot more to do with circumstances and crap than it did the quality of the teams. Also, the injuries suck, but the season isn't over. Every team deals with major injuries at some point. All that being said, yes, I will avoid mainstream football media all week because the narratives are going to be nauseating. And, the expectations this year should probably be a Wild Card team, unless Miami gets similarly struck with injuries. The Jaguars are not better than the Bills. This game came down to a failure by the Bills offense. They were healthy and the unbelievably injured defense kept giving them opportunities, but they couldn't do anything against a Jacksonville defense that seemed to have their number -- again, I think that was one of the biggest factors going into this game. Belief is a huge thing in football that doesn't get talked about enough.
  8. This game is about to be over. This one is all on the offense, which is playing like it's the injured unit.
  9. The Poyer play no longer has any effect on this game as they did get the ball past the 50.
  10. Josh did. There never should have been a drive. The first play was an easy TD but it was a bad throw by Josh.
  11. Josh really let the team down there. The Diggs play was a walk-in TD and he didn't put enough on it. Predictably, the drive then stalls.
  12. We get so excited every year and spend so much time talking about this and that, but then you see major injuries happening so easily on routine plays and it's like, What's the point?
  13. What's funny to me is that everyone on game day threads seems to morph into how I am throughout the week, yet I get blown up all week for being like this.
  14. What's happening in this game right now has nothing to do with the quality of the football teams.
  15. The Bills are going to get clocked by the Jaguars tomorrow. Still the best team in the NFL regardless.
  16. This is extraordinarily troubling to me You have crossed a line What is wrong with you 🙂 I have at times been both credited and criticized for my ability to remain completely stoic when being yelled at or when someone is having an emotional meltdown in front of me, so objectively, there might be merit to your line of thinking
  17. Hmm. Interesting to think about. I'm not offended by the comment. Apparently, I'm a psycho. Maybe I really am. Yeah, I concede that the overwhelming consensus is what it is. It's interesting to hear the reactions and recognize how unusual I am. I'm curious how the interaction would have gone in real life.
  18. Which is not entirely unsurprising since I am off-the-charts autistic according to my ex-wife I have twice and it was awful both times
  19. Are you superstitious or something? It's not like throwing out a "what if" on a message board makes something more likely to happen in real life
  20. Lol, I know. I was criticizing the other poster.
