The defense is just getting pushed around. Offense can’t get stopped once and get down 14-3. Not championship football.

I think we can play solid goaline run defense but it’s harder with the threat of a team going downfield.

I knew this was a risk. We played 3 soft teams and got crowned heading into a physical Baltimore team that was the best in the AFC last year. Not a good spot for us.

Henry is a problem for our undersized defense. Was with the Titans as well.

Everything you're discussing is based on a reduced depth of target. He's only down 1.6 yards per target while dropping 5.3 yards in depth of target with a 100% catch rate. If I can throw it shorter to gain close to the same, the same, or more, I'm increasing efficiency. That is exactly what he is doing. He's second in the NFL in success rate (40% of yards on 1st, 60% on 2nd, or 100% on 3rd) over 10 catches.

I haven’t made much of an attempt to debate who currently is playing better. I think it’s pretty clear Josh is playing better. As for the rest of it, same stuff that’s been debated here for years. Mahomes and the Chiefs are that successful because of coaching and the roster, and if Josh had that, bla bla. Josh could very well end up being better than Mahomes. But for the time being the guys trajectory is second to only what Brady did.

Mahomes is better in what he has accomplished individually and with his team has accomplished in every conceivable way somebody could measure it. Mahomes has best performance in NFL history in the Divisional round and the Conference Championship. 29 TD's to 2 INT's with a 10-2 record. Allen has 8 TD and 2 INT's in the Divisional round and the Conference Championship with a 1-4 record. Mahomes has 3 Super Bowl wins in which he has come from behind by 10 or more points / 5 playoff comebacks in the 4th quarter. Allen has zero in both columns Mahomes has 3 Super Bowl MVP's and 2 NFL MVP's, Josh has zero in both columns Josh has never won a playoff game in OT or a regular season game in OT, Mahomes has too many to count If somebody called out Marino as the best of all time 20 years ago you would have laughed. Maybe they call him out as the best passer, the best release, the best accuracy. He was likely all those things, but he was not the best QB by anyway our society has decided to measure who is.
