Super Bowl LIX - Chiefs vs Eagles - Pregame thread
Mikie2times replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wild that these fringe calls are still going to KC with so much awareness over it -
So Palestinian's and Jews have been fighting for this land for almost 80 years. It’s the most dangerous stretch of land in the world with religious differences and land ownership at the heart of the conflict. This is the Middle East, a place we were desperate to leave for so long. He is dumb enough and arrogant enough to think somehow he can navigate this. I hope this situation isn’t what is required to prove it to some.

This is largely where I'm at, but I will say, the idea of getting an ACTUAL game wrecker at DL is more appealing based on this. Which I believe you oppose. But I feel like it's more based on hitting on who that difference maker is vs the side of the ball they play. I'm squeamish we would be getting the max benefit of a WR1 which make me lean DL. But more than anything we just need a clear hit.

It's funny how sensitive people can be to just a basic question in how we view things. So you have some perspective..... Diggs had Brady as his OC for 7 regular season games he was active in. If you only look at games Diggs was active, he had 137 games in which a previous 7 game sample existed. This crosses seasons. It obviously wouldn't start until he has played in 7 games in his career. Out of those 137 instances, he had 1 where he averaged less yards than the 7 game sample with Brady. It happened the previous 7 games week 1 of 2016 (so the end of his rookie year). Cooper had Brady for 8 regular season games he was active for. If you look at games in which Cooper was active, he had 154 games in which a previous 8 game sample existed. Out of those 154 instances, he had 3 where he averaged less yards than the 8 game sample with Brady. All 3 happened concurrently his 3rd year with the Raiders. So when we say these questions aren't meaningful, I really don't understand how people can arrive at that. These are the options that explain the above: Both were so forgone/injured _____ that they just both happened to have near career low output in B2B years with us (in a very good offense which makes it even more weird). Brady can effectively scheme a #1 but it should or shouldn't matter to us because our offense is very successful Brady can't effectively scheme a #1 but it should or shouldn't matter to us because our offense is very successful In those three options, sure, it can be a blend. But only 1 option suggests spending on a #1 would amount to anything more than a decoy. Which might in fact be a very valuable thing to us but I don't imagine it would be enticing to a FA. Nor would it be an advantage that isn't eventually taken away if you don't in fact eventually use that weapon. It can only be a decoy for so long. As we ask ourselves what priority we place on FA's and the draft I think this question is probably among the most important to the offseason.

Diggs for his sample under Brady was his worst since joining Buffalo. Cooper just had one of his worst seasons as a pro. I think most people see these outcomes as two separate things and that very well could be the case. Diggs was a little banged up + drama and Cooper was also banged up. But I’m also not ignoring the common denominator of the two being Brady especially when I see people advocating for that #1 WR. Do you think these two WR’s suffered decreases independent of Brady or do think his scheme limited them? If the scheme limits #1’s do you still value a true #1 the same as you would in another scheme?

I’m more worried if the hit bothered him

Cooper Kupp leaving the Rams. Want him?
Mikie2times replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Samuels, Shakir are. Kinkaid often plays out of it. Coleman was better at big slot at FSU. I would much rather be adding boundary weapons. We have a lot of mix and match options from the slot. -

He's the type of guy you can get for a 5th. But yet another slot guy. -
They also said he was lazy and out of shape all the time which isn't a stretch to consider

In a year let me know what causes you more pain, immigrants or tariffs

K buddy, how about all the bazillion American born citizens that commit crimes. You plan on stopping all them as well? I would imagine they make up about 100000000000% more of the crime in the US than those immigrants do. Not as sexy to create programs to reduce violence in America from Americans it appears.

Of course he won’t fix it. You can improve it if your measurement of improving it is in people coming and going void of costs, time, jobs and all the other variables that are involved in “fixing” it. You can’t stop it. We just don’t have the resources. My brother is an ICE officer. Sunday he got a called in with mandatory OT as did all ICE officers for the next 7 days. So let’s deport some people he says. Don’t know where to put them, no planes, jails but hey, let’s go full mandatory OT and do it anyway. Sounds like a good use of resources? Yes he likes Trump and that’s fine. At the end of the day people with crap lives are going to want to go to places that are nicer and nothing Trump does is going to stop them from trying. Whenever he’s done with his political career the next guys probably not going to waste the time, energy, and resources he has. Then all of his fixing will be rolled back in a few years because maybe somebody thinks the time, money, and resources could be spent better and would you blame them if that is the case? Do you expect to personally benefit from this massive effort to limit immigration? Did you violently hurt as a result of the immigrants that were let in?

It’s not something that will get fixed regardless if you do nothing or build a wall. All this is just symbolic so he can beat his chest. What will happen next week is him costing me money. In a real way. Not a symbolic one.

No hysteria, just frustration. Wrong assumption on my political beliefs. I hate the man which isn’t that hard to do regardless of how you lean politically. The lefts attitude of do nothing would be better than do the wrong things aggressively as we are seeing now. I’m not very supportive of destabilizing governments and economies, thanks.

Rather not trade real things for some pie in the sky notion that this will somehow pay off long term. Maybe by some miracle it does, in the meantime we will be paying more money in a very real way for a lot more than just avocados. The tentacles of this thing reach everywhere. So we should expect it to change if Mexico or Canada somehow meets whatever his invisible standard is for immigration or drugs? Even if they wanted to comply 100% with everything he wants what does that even mean or how do they know that it even makes a difference? We have enough issues. We didn’t need to create new ones or exacerbate the ones that already existed. Pride is the only thing keeping his own supporters from calling this what it is. A complete turd for 99% of us.

Stock market is tanking, crypto is tanking, I just paid 65% more for an avocado. Super excited for the future. 😂 hope you’re doing well lady!

Hasn't the US had a drug issue for what? 60+ years? Generating a fake narrative to basically tax US citizens, under this instrument that is a hell of a lot more complicated than Trumps last few bankruptcy's, only to eventually lower taxes for higher income citizens. It's all so laughable that most the people who can't even clear 50k supported this guy. Idiocracy literally playing out in front of us.

I imagine the Trump voters had a intimate understanding of what these Tariffs would do to them.

Crazy trade. Unibrow for twinkayy

I considered this before the stat came out but it would have taken me forever to research. I think it is something like avg PPG in our losses, vs average playoff defense PPG. Its not logical how that stat is being used. I had considered the concept of looking at all games, divisional or later. Our avg PPG vs any team that had a minimum of 3 games since 2020. I did the ones below. I can finish it later if people find it useful. Ravens 4 games 17.75 Bengals 5 games 19.2 Chiefs 14 games 20.64 49ers 7 games 21.43 Bills 7 games 27.71

I know all the standard TBD talking points for both. I don’t really know how much I believe it. Good players, sure. Better while working together. Good system that does exceedingly well in the regular season. Positions in our system that don’t seem to require a lot of talent. So like I said, not entirely sure. But I understand you’re. Most feel that way.

I have no idea how good they actually were. Probably pretty good. But we still had trouble containing a lot of good passing attacks and we still have players who aren’t very good perform well at Safety. They still had teams not pursue them while being very young In FA. I don’t think every sign points to them being elite. But it’s a fairly unscientific evaluation process anyway.
