If Andrew’s doesn’t fumble and if that catch for two is made, we are probably at less than 50% as far as win expectancy. It might not be fully on him but he certainly played as large a role for a non QB in a loss in some time.

From my view, you go up 8, if they score AND get the two point conversion, then you still likely have a potential FG drive unless they score with no time. Then you have OT with the TD rule. So the outs just keep going in that spot and so it made sense. If it was just to go up 7 maybe you really have a decision, but I don’t think it was a decision going up 8.

Some of us young muscular studs understand it as well. I don't know where those people are, but I imagine a few of them get it.

I think it would be a bit absurd to say whoever loses the turnover battle in a single event is somehow better or worse. We have a high propensity for generating turnovers. It is part of the McD way. It's still a fairly volatile outcome over the long term. You would like to be able to be good enough to win without turnovers. I don't believe we would have been good enough today. We have some holes and our defense looked very playoff like in the 2nd half. But at the end of the day we have 2 more games. We match up decent with KC and I would roll the dice with any NFC team. So pretty incredible, we have a legit shot even in not being perfect.

Why does it feel like this is your nightly affirmation

It was largely same old, same old on defense. First half game plan was excellent, but we offered no resistance in the 2nd half. It is what it is at this point. This team really protects the ball and McD's defenses have always been + at turnovers. I don't think the turnover thing is random for us. Lord help us if it ever goes against us, but I think we will be + more often than not in that area.

I don’t know that I saw anything today that was incredibly different than the past on defense. It was a huge win. We allowed about the same level of production we have been in the past but we got the turnovers and the drop. First half game plan was really good. Especially in shutting the run game down. Ravens looked like they ran out of time.

Curious how people view this one with his legacy. I was hoping to get something a little more definitive . On one hand, we did a really good job taking away the run early. On another, we allowed 25 with 3 turnovers. Nearly 7 yards a play again, it seemed like they could do whatever they wanted in the 2nd half. I will lay off him until this run is over. But it was the type of win where it feels like we really didn’t learn a lot more and I thought we would going in.
