Blah blah blah blah blah. I really wish we'd get away from the "I wish Marv would come back" train of thought.... because... well.... It just isn't going to happen. Need to play with the cards we've been dealt. Oh, and for the love of all that is holy, Mike has only played TWO DAMN GAMES. So far, I think he's on the right track. -Jeff

Yeah, guess not. Oh well.

Mularkey just turned the screws up a notch

In agreement mostly. It's agitation after the GW era. Everyone is so in need of a winning season after the last three that there's simply no patients left. MM != GW But GW = RJ, so therefore, MM != RJ. Which makes MM a good thing. -
You're not using an external reader for those.... they're web based only. Although I think that PERHAPS outlook express MIGHT support reading hotmail messages.

Odd.. I thought they were bigger?

I always tell myself that, too. The problem with that logic is there is ALWAYS a latest-and-greatest. I'm kind of coming out of the gaming hobby, spending too much time on it. Going to the shooting range a bit more ;-)

Ok so I am walking around the fieldhouse...

Sure he does! (Complementary upgrade on 11/7). Lots of popular figures (complimentary upgrade to my nosebleed seats on 11/7) read their own message boards/mailing list (complimentary upgrade to my crapped seats on 11/7). It doesn't surprise me (complimentary upgrades to my crapola seats on 11/7) at all. Tom of course is the best GM (complimentary upgrade to crappy seats 11/7) in the league. -jeff -
Amen!! Like I said.. Mularkey put them in a place to win. If one more thing had gone our way, it would have been our game. GW didn't do that. Even though we lost, I really do feel better about MM.

Pressure, I'd wager. Get that boy some Riddlin.

Thank you. That was refreshing =) You're being optimistic though; stop that! Personally, I think Mularkey put 'em in a position to win the game. The players lost this one. Moulds' drops, Lindell's miss, allowing that 4th down bomb, et al. If nothing else, I feel better about MM. He actually did put us in the position to win. Minus those PLAYER MISTAKES, we would have beat them by 10 points. If Mularkey can do this week after week, we'll win games. -Jeff

Yeah... the tension all game long.. and to have it end like that. Yeah, it's the first game and yeah I know how the pats' season went, but... just... ouch.

Was at Walmart buying a new modem for my mother in law tonight (only place open at 9pm on Sunday that sells 'em).. A couple guys, probably in their late 20's stop a woman in her car, she was a bit older. They tell her that she was leaking headlight fluid and she should stop and have it checked as soon as possible. She looked disturbed, like she bought it. I'm reminded again why I avoid that store!!

Same answer as I gave the guy with the barking dog problem... .30-06!

Money talks - college credit for sports
mcjeff215 replied to stuckincincy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, it sure is. Before the state mandated the course, it was say... 120 credits to get a degree, now it's 123. I've no problem at all with sports participation counting for those credits. In GA's case, the general lecture education requirements haven't gone DOWN, but the overall requirements went UP when they decided to require a health style class. Regardless, I've no problem with that counting for college credit as long as it's a three semester credit hour class. Look at some of the other stupid electives you can take to work towards a degree... badminton, et al. Now, if half of the credits these guys had came from classes like "football rules 1020", I'd have a severe problem with it. But three? So what. -Jeff -

A lot of schools require health-type classes. I know the schools in GA do. I can understand credit for sports participation counting for the health classes. Would like to read the whole story.. couldn't find it on cbs.sportsline.com. What is HPS 1040-Health? HPS 1040, Health Concepts & Strategies, is a 2 hour credit course which satisfies the core health education requirement for graduation. The class consists of a one-hour lecture and meets twice per week. In addition, the instructors often use Web CT to supplement course material with additional relevant information and activities designed to reinforce lecture material. Course content focuses on the critical analysis of health information, the development of strategies to promote good health, and assumption of personal responsibility for health enhancement. -
And dum dum dum dum.... for those of you that remember my complaint about this last time.. the place I'm working for is sending MORE people to Miami for the BIGGER hurricane. The people working at our datacenter down there will of course evacuate.... the smart folks from up here will handle it while they're gone. Nice.

mcjeff215 replied to ganesh's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For the love of... I was just going to start a thread like this myself =) Jerry really has no freaking credibility with me. He, like a lot of his cohorts in mainstream media, are looking to fire up a hornets nest. No one wants to speak the truth anymore, everyone wants to break the big story and ignite the fire. Bah. How do those in Buffalo rate Sullivan? -

King snakes mimic the coral's coloring. Corals are Red->Yellow->Black, whereas King snakes are a bit different. Ever year the "red then yellow, kill a fellow" rhyme? She's sure it was a Coral. I'd a shot the @%er. -
I don't know why, but I'm finding this REALLY funny: http://www.ebolamonkeyman.com I've been reading 'em for the past couple of hours. Screw work!
