  1. I of course am not in on the details, but if Tawmy is out looking it’s because he thinks he can get more than the Pats have likely offered thus far, jmo. Why else would he be out looking?
  2. Even when I was young and barely slept, drank too much, and smoked that weed stuff, it was another football game. That it was on other than 1:00pm on Sunday was mostly an inconvenience, still is. The additional hype is totally unwarranted imo, but hell, people like what they like, if that floats your boat, more power to ya, ?
  3. No, the Bills are not allowed compensatory picks, its a rule...
  4. It’s just a smart thing to have someone at the organization keeping tabs on best practices for game management, as Shaw said in a post, it is getting the multitude of little things right that can win you games.
  5. I agree, and it would help a bit with bringing in FA players, in which the franchise will look very stable, that has to be a plus in players eyes I would think.
  6. I get that, but when the defender is on the receivers arms and not specifically “making a play on the ball” ...
  7. Yup, same thing in the WC game in the end zone with Duke, referees are so bloody inconsistent, it’s as if they don’t know what the rules of engagement are, which is likely the case.
  8. On the last catch. The pats defender was pulling at Knox’s arm before the ball got to him, that used to be considered PI once upon a time...
  9. If you have enough subscribers you can sell ad space, kind of a chicken or the egg deal, it’s a tough business model to keep healthy, being most folk don’t like to pay for media content nowadays,
  10. In a Star Wars sort of way, these are not the droids you’re after... unless it is vet minimum, and even then, not so much.
  11. Why do you purposefully play the blow hard? Your points were noted, and they were contributing factors as you said, but one can as well see the obvious plays that decided the game in our opponents favor. But you are so stubborn that you refuse to even entertain anything but your own view. Do have a nice day, and enjoy the upcoming FA period and the draft, I know I will, later 17, Go Bills!!!
  12. Now you’re being hyperbolic, this silly statement is not what anyone is arguing, those thing contributed, and everyone realizes that, but the game would have been won on two or three passing plays that the receivers botched, even with all the other contributing factors, you’re just arguing for the sake of your ego now, talk about clutching pearls, sheesh... Go Bills!!!
  13. With the Bills Receiver groups propensity to drop passes at crucial moments in games..., that and the receivers are the go to guys, yes, the opinion stated is quite valid, and frankly pretty obvious. nuthin but luv,? I think I’m wanting a beer ? and fried food with cheese on it....screw my arteries... Go Bills!!! Yup, I read that thread,? my attempt at at being a bit humorous evidently failed..
  14. This ^^^ we were the 2nd worst in drops last season iirc, or close to it. This very issue has been the bane of our team the last two seasons. Who ever is the best pass catcher is my guy. Our current best pass catchers by catch percentage iirc, are Brown Beasley and Williams, we need more... I so do enjoy stating the obvious...?
  15. That block was perfectly fine, that would have been BS call like the one on Ford in the WC game, jmo...
  16. I think I agree... it is always so tenuous, especially if we have a lot of competition replacing him and or JP ?
  17. I don’t blame them, We visited London some years back, stayed at the Luna & Simone hotel, my wife and I were doing a bit of touring, we visited Paris, Florence, Montepulciano, Stuttgart, Rome etc, it is our intent to return and spend more time in the UK, we enjoyed ourselves quite a bit, London is a very cool town. We are currently living on our sailboat, sailing between New England and the southern Bahamas, chasing the warm temps. My grandfather moved from Coventry to the States via Canada were he met my Grandmother who moved from Ireland, they had a Jaguar XKE, loved that car. When we get to old to sail (a few years out) we are headed back, we want to spend a month in the UK., my wife wants to do some walks in the Cotswolds(sp)? yes we are retired, pensioners as you might say. Go Bills!!!
  18. I stand corrected, I was misinformed evidently, thanks for the education, never to late to learn as my Ninety year old father says. ?
  19. I believe it is called a freehold Or leasehold, one of which you do not own the property but have use of it for an extended period of time, free hold means you actually purchased the land and one then owns it forever basically, Some of the Royals according to myth and rumor own big chunks of land that towns sit on and as I understand it those folk pay the royal family and amount of money annually for the land. I certainly do not know the particulars of course, When a country is as old as the UK, and with its history of kings and peasants, land ownership through the ages is far different game than in the States.
