I'm sure the modern, woke NFL didn't invite The Juice. (Sigh) I remember when OJ was a great player, not a tired punchline. It's a shame how he tarnished his on-the-field accomplishments. The argument could be made that he was the greatest runner in the history of the NFL, but because of his Bronco antics, no one cares enough to make the case. I would have liked to see some BRUUUUUCE hype in that segment, though. HE was the greatest to play his position since Deacon Jones, IMO.

You aren't kidding! Take a look at the last paragraph in an article about the Buffalo area unemployment rate from today's paper. An editor would have quickly caught the obvious error. You don't remember the Giants D faking injuries to slow down the K-Gun?! That was a HUGE part of their gameplan, "stretching the rules" to gain an advantage. And of course, their Defensive Coordinator grew up to become Bill Billif*ck, leader of the evil empire.

I was in a tent in the Arabian desert. My unit was from Fort Monmouth, NJ, so we had a LOT of Giants fans. I was one of 2 Buffalo natives in my company. When there was an update on TV about a SCUD missile attack near us, our company commander came in, demanding we change the channel DURING THE SUPER BOWL, so we could watch CNN's updates about missiles. (Side note: I was in a HUMINT Military Intelligence Battalion.) I was the only sergeant with the cojones to say something. I pointed out that an MI unit shouldn't be relying on CNN for intel, but my First Sergeant grabbed me and dragged me out of the tent, probably preventing an article 15. (The interuption only lasted a few minutes of game time, fortunately.) After the missed kick, I walked out of the tent and watched the saddest sunrise ever. Due to the time zone difference, we had stayed up almost all night watching the game.

Has anyone mentioned character? Which free agents will fit "The Process"? I think that's a huge part of our recent success.

I just hope "the narrative" keeps the Bills under the RADAR as long as possible. lol Go Bills!
