Grier's failure can't be overstated. At one point in time Miami had the most first round picks in the league and the most cap space to completely rebuild a team. This would be a good GM's dream situation and all they got out of it was a couple of wildcard playoff appearances and 0 playoff wins. The problem with Flores was that he didn't build a good culture. They had some success in the win column, but half the team hating him and complaining about him. They really had to get rid of him. But failed mightily with team construction. Chubb, Tua, Phillips, and Hill have all cost them a ton of those assets and they have been either hurt or were the wrong picks.

For me this week will tell a lot. The patriot game was a huge downer for me and could tell there was no energy for the Falcons game. I loved the way the defense played on Sunday, and hoping we see a much better defense the rest of the way. I think the super bowl aspirations would kick up again with a win against the chiefs where they put together another good defensive game.

It could just be a guy shooting three bullet salute for celebration in the wrong direction. -
I mostly lean right, but this is grounds for termination. This is a terrible and indefensible.

9/7/25 1st Half Game Thread - Bills vs Ravens SNF

I love Brady and think he is a great play caller, but you have Josh Allen against Baltimore and you do two runs up the middle. That was disappointing. -
I don't get any negative views on this. It is a practice squad signing. He is a well liked by both players and coaches. He has been in the system for a long time, and they know his football acumen. Even if they are changing up the defense some, you know he is a guy that can handle and teach the changes in the system. I see a perfect use of the practice squad being a combination of guys like this and guys like Shavers that have some upside and you can stash for development to compete for a spot in the future.

Hoyland is a Wyoming guy. I hope they give him a shot when Bass is out. Just to give him some exposure for other teams.

As stated earlier Brady did help carry teams, but he also had years where he was mostly a game manager. He didn't come close to putting up the best numbers, but won multiple super bowls. Allen can never get away with scoring 13 points in a playoff game and coming out on top. He has to be incredible every playoff game for the team to win. Brady didn't have to do that in his early years. Remember they took Matt Cassell to an 11 and 5 record when Brady went down and at the time Cassell hadn't started a meaningful since high school(he was a backup his entire college career). That was phenomenal coaching.

I think he is also a little overlooked because he just goes about his business. He doesn't have a cool nick name, he doesn't talk a lot like Ramsey, so people just don't know much about him. He is an absolute stud of a corner. All the stats of yards per route and touchdowns given up in the top 3 of the league. I think he would need to have a 5 to 7 interception type season to get more national recognition. It may happen if the defense does end up being more aggressive and forces more forced errors with pressure.

Noah Fant Released by Sea Sicks
Udubalum07 replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall
With the way the dolphins tight end room looks like, I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up there. Also, the way they used Smith, last year, Fant could be used in a similar way and have some production.
