I know...the 20 million could be the deal breaker on a possible deal. Clowney may fit well on that line. If he is healthy, he seems to provide a better option than some of the other names floating around.

I would include a second for Clowney...question is, do the Bills want to pay the 20 Million even though they need a DE. They have to get one anyway.

We need a pro bowl calibre DE to compete effectively in the AFC East. Someone healthy and productive...not has beens and the chronically injured.

A lot of these guys have injury histories and other recurring problems. Does that include Dion Jordan as Well? Probably not worth a look?

I agree...this team deserves better...especially when opportunities present themselves. We can be content and just "field" a perennial 8-8 team, or acquire the best men available.

I remember very vividly...like yesterday when I worked security years ago. My fellow guards and I were not allowed to have TV's at work. We used to huddle around a little tv and watch Bills games at the main gate...it was freezing cold, but the spirit was there. After work there was a local bar just screaming Bills! It was contagious.

If Beane and the Bills continue on this path of a rebuild, their rise back to the top will be inevitable at some point...probably in the next two years. It comes down to the OL, the evolution of Allen, and the DL. It begins with defeating NE convincingly once and for all. How we crack their run and pass blocking goes a long way. Is there perhaps, a psychological component to this as well?

What about Vargas? How long do we wait for the Mets to get pitching help? What is wrong with Kimbrel? Typical Mets fashion is to wait until we are 12 games out!
