    I like Sweeney as well. Another guy to root for and keep an eye on. Appears to be pretty intense and fearless with good hands.

    It is so easy as Bills fans to be skeptical. Afterall, look what the Bills and us fans have endured the last two decades. I have a feeling that we are going to turn the corner in a year or two.

    Yes I agree. Perhaps we are expecting too much in one off season. This is the biggest turnover of personnel that I have witnessed in awhile. As much as we need a defensive end and maybe a wr...lets see how the season plays out...unless Beane has something else up his sleeve.

    Frank Clark would have been ideal. I believe that Clowney would fit in well here, but a 1st round pick in return? Someone mentioned earlier that maybe another player will surface after cuts or will be system expendable. We need someone to get sacks and compliment Oliver.

    I would not discount Frank Gore because of his age. That man is in shape and invests in himself. Some men can defy age for awhile!

    Lawson will definately find a home. There may be teams already monitoring the situation.

    While Clowney may be "Fool's Gold and a borderline second tier DE, he would be an improvement. If the Texans lowered the asking price...then maybe.

    We obviously see this all of the time. The media will look at a teams needs on paper and automatically assume that the players will fit elsewhere. Before Oliver was drafted, a few writers even suggested Gerald McCoy to the Bills in a draft trade.

    Ha! I agree...just wishful thinking on my part. Yes, there is a rarity of good DE's. So easy to just pencil players in to the line up

    I like Lawson and even if he cannot set the edge, his game will probably improve this year...motivated by his contract year. The Bills still need to address the DE position with an impact player...the Bills are not the only team improving. Now...when and where do we find this guy?
