It just seems hard to tell, but considering the improved OL, more weapons for Allen, and a marginal improvement on the defense, the Bills could conceivably win 9 games. One more good draft and FA's and they are getting close.
What if this Raider job does not work out for Mayock? Does he return as a draft analyst? I would find it awkward...even though many would probably say I told you so.
It is so easy as Bills fans to be skeptical. Afterall, look what the Bills and us fans have endured the last two decades. I have a feeling that we are going to turn the corner in a year or two.
Yes I agree. Perhaps we are expecting too much in one off season. This is the biggest turnover of personnel that I have witnessed in awhile. As much as we need a defensive end and maybe a wr...lets see how the season plays out...unless Beane has something else up his sleeve.
Frank Clark would have been ideal. I believe that Clowney would fit in well here, but a 1st round pick in return? Someone mentioned earlier that maybe another player will surface after cuts or will be system expendable. We need someone to get sacks and compliment Oliver.
We obviously see this all of the time. The media will look at a teams needs on paper and automatically assume that the players will fit elsewhere. Before Oliver was drafted, a few writers even suggested Gerald McCoy to the Bills in a draft trade.
