  1. Sorry...I just don't see Oliver as a bust. He is too dedicated, athletic and explosive. As we know. He was smothered a NT at Houston. Besides, I like his attitude...kind of a loose and fancy free guy...spatially free! unhindered!
  2. If we could go back in time and bring back Bruce!
  3. It seems that a Frank Clark "type" is what McD is looking for. A 23-27 year old prototype.
  4. I ran several marathons in "respectable" times...3:30 -3:45, but people would say: "Well, did you run Boston?" I suppose finishing was winning.
  5. Don't worry. Colin Cowherd and other pundits are necessary parts of the food chain!
  6. We got em right where we want em! ha!
  7. Let "them" say what they will. Beane and the Bills are getting better. A few more moves and another Good draft...then look out. I always liked the role of underdog anyway.
  8. I know...I like him. He is making bold and measured moves...I don't sense any panic. He seems to have good nerves! All eyes are on him.
  9. Lawson may do better with Oliver on board...heck, everyone should, but Lawson should have demonstrated something by now besides being just good enough or adequate, or borderline...any way we want to phrase it. We already know what kind of production that we need from the DE spot. It is not happening.
  10. Lawson may play more than "borderline" this year on a prove it type contract...if he does, there are always teams out there that will sign him. Then we are compensated.
  11. No they are not "scrubs", But they are not performing at the level that is needed. The Bills need bonafide starters that produce on a weekly basis and have impact...not just borderline. I like the pick of Singletary and the Bills were probably sticking to the board and projecting him as a future starter. Why else would Beane be reaching out to the likes of Frank Clark, Clowney and Ansah?
  12. I don't either...I never sensed the fit. Frank Clark maybe.
  13. I do not have a clue what the Bills are going to do at WR. After the A. Brown fiasco, it appears that they are looking for veterans to help Allen. They must have a plan to address it...and the DE mess as well. I just happen to like John Brown despite his troubles. Robert Foster as well. Give these guys a chance.
  14. My thoughts as well. Plenty of choices in the early rounds to address the DE position. They may have a particular player(s) in mind via trade or FA besides Ansah and Clowney.
  15. What about Vargas?
  16. Welll...we gotta believe!
  17. I like Gerald McCoy. He would probably come to life and give a big contribution to this rebuild process.
  18. It can't be soon enough. Charade is over.
  19. Thats how I see it if all works out. Tremendous talent...needs a little polish.
  20. Right on. As much as I like "someone" like him, he is still not the answer...he never lived up to hype.
  21. That sounds excellent. Milano and Edmunds will only get better, and if Joseph gets the kinks out and progresses, he will be a very dangerous LB. Look at the speed of this group!
  22. Unless we find a pro bowl/impact DE...we may be stuck with Lawson. Maybe this is this the year that he "magically" finds himself! After all it is a contract year! Sure...he will carve out a comfortable living as an "adequate" player.
  23. Jones would be nice if he were the final piece missing and the defense was improved. The Bills are still a year or two away from seriously contending.
