  1. My vote is for the wrong leg amputation! I am in the minority, the Bengals loss was worse to me. We sucked for 60 minutes on Sunday. The only players that caught my eye in a positive way were Shakir, Beasley and Milano. At home, in Buffalo weather, there was nothing but excuses and a damp squib. At least in Houston and at KC we were in the game and had chances. Last week we couldn't even decide that attempting the FG in the 4th quarter was the sensible thing to do being down 3 scores?
  2. Not entirely sure. Carr has played in California or Nevada all his collegiate and professional career. I don't think he'd be suitable for a team with harsh weather - in my view, the best options are a West Coast, Southern or a dome team. Thinking out loud, LA Rams - offensive guru HC and Kupp, Stafford is mid 30's and out injured. Baker Mayfield isn't the answer. In terms of AFC East, Miami is his only real fit. McDaniel could be what he needs to resuscitate his career.
  3. A lot of Buffalo fans are wondering, can we win a Super Bowl with McDermott ... In the next two years, do you think that NE can win the AFC East with Mac Jones as QB1?
  4. Miami - Brady Jets - Lamar/Rodgers NE - Mac Jones Buffalo - Allen If the rumours actually materialize, how can New England stick with Mac Jones? They are top 10 in available cap space.
  5. There is no doubt that the Bills deserved the loss on Sunday. The Bengals were also down their number 1 CB, down 3 OL and their DE's were playing banged up. Their OL stood up, why do we have excuses on the injury front and they don't? We were down more players for sure but our opponent still had substantial injury issues and played a great game. They had 1 week to patch up their OL on the fly, Hyde/Miller as a combination have been unavailable since November. Do you really believe that McDermott can lead us to a Super Bowl? If so, what is it based on? I wish it to happen - the only way I can foresee it is if Josh plays like the previous postseason with a minimal margin for error. Do you believe that the current defensive scheme as it is run now can defeat the Bengals or the Chiefs in the postseason? I will always support the team. The fact that we were never really in with a shot to win the game at any point on Sunday is what gets me down for now.
  6. The most painful season in my ten years of being a Buffalo Bills fan. We giggle at the other AFC East teams, who do you have at QB? Mac Jones, Tua, the Zach/Mike/Joe combo - we have an undisputed top 5 guy, after so many years of waiting and we have a weak OL, an underutilized TE on a big $ contract, a true top 5 WR and virtually nothing else in addition to a seemingly impatient OC. Speaking only about the four Divisional round games, the teams that ran the ball for the most yards won. Jacksonville was doing well with Etienne and Hasty and they suddenly stopped running. We had the USA radio broadcast on the BBC here in England. Mike Mayock was tipping plays - Hurst was wide open 2 seconds before he caught the TD. The pass to Chase where he was 1 on 1 with Tre. The British studio analyst (Darren Fletcher) was saying the "Buffalo Bills have a team that is not in the image of the city of Buffalo". Ouch. We draft Elam, Cook and Shakir and we don't give them the opportunity? Are we so flooded with talent for them to sit on the bench? I always feel that McDermott is disingenuous when speaking, he is always hiding behind reviewing the tape or his spirituality. If you mess up, own it. Beane appears genuine and I still have more faith in him compared to McDermott. No change at either OC or DC would indicate that ownership is content with the season and how it ended.
  7. Thanks, I tried this and only get silence. Stream appears to load and there is silence - my speakers are on etc. I had read elsewhere that MyTuner radio works well in the USA but I think only gives local stations elsewhere - previously this wasn't the case. Looks like VPN is the way forward.
  8. I am currently in England. Is there any app that can access WGR without VPN etc? Website is completely blocked. I used to use the Simple Radio app but WGR has disappeared in the last 10 days and I tried Tune-In but it seems you have to pay a subscription for that. Are there any other local radio stations that has Bills content or does WGR have a monopoly of sorts? Any advice gratefully received.
  9. Outcome today feels a lot worse compared to the Houston game - we got humiliated to the same level as Tampa last Monday. Why cannot we have a game plan to play in snow? We heard that the Bengals are so pass happy etc - look what happened Mixon and Perine produced. Perine was, it seems, dragging 10 guys with him and always falling forwards. We could not tackle. Tre got scorched today. Could not stop the run. Didn't attempt the field goal when we should have in the 4th quarter. A start to finish disaster, unfortunately. We can cope with the regular season, win 10 plus games but fall against the elite teams. People were pining for the 1 seed and we don't have a team that excels in those conditions. I give credit to the Bengals, they came to play and were almost flawless. First step - fix the offensive line - out top 5 got outplayed by the Bengals backups. Josh undisputably has the worst OL compared to Burrow/Mahomes. Blessings to all Buffalo fans from Europe.
  10. We are undoubtedly a better team with Poyer on the field. Having said that his salary and contract status seems to crop up regularly as a discussion topic in comparison to every other Buffalo Bills player. Best case scenario with him I think is for the Bills to win a Super Bowl this year and he can leave to potentially grab a better deal elsewhere. Similar to what Von did last year, win a Super Bowl and "seek a new challenge".
  11. Looking at the flow charts I would like the route going NE loss - MIA loss - PIT loss and then circling back that NE becomes the 7th seed. I am wary of PIT, it will be a super emotional game should it happen with the links to Damar, Tomlin etc - can be both and advantage and a detriment. I get the feeling that NE will be easier to deal with, then MIA and then PIT. Whoever Buffalo faces I will be confident, NE again in 7 days seems like the most appealing route.
  12. In the first match up between these teams the Raiders missed some golden chances. There were at least two throws that Carr made that hit Mack Collins between the 1 and the 0 on his jersey and he barely got a hand on the ball. Such are the margins any given Sunday. The Raiders can definitely win this game. I wish that the potential milestones for Jacobs and Adams can spur the offense and at the very least give KC a hard, physical game. Stidham will surely be motivated for another 300 plus yard passing game.
  13. It is on P145 quoted by Nephilim17 Also - https://twitter.com/i/broadcasts/1YqJDobaVjDGV?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1611068690002505729|twgr^b04b8bed6f0208dd43d53e2b6d739298fe189acc|twcon^s1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.twobillsdrive.com%2Fcommunity%2Findex.php%3Fapp%3Dcoremodule%3Dsystemcontroller%3Dembedurl%3Dhttps%3A%2F%2Ftwitter.com%2Fbuffalobills%2Fstatus%2F1611068690002505729%3Fs%3D4626t%3Dy__aCdO2c9LM1psBXeY32w
  14. So glad hear of the improvements to Damar's health. Long may these improvements continue. I would recommend everyone to watch the 50 minute Zoom call posted earlier in the thread by the two Cincinnati doctors and the medical liaison. It is well worth your time. I watched it all kind of in awe. The two Doctors who called in seemed to embarrass themselves by attempting to be smart and ask such invasive questions in complete contrast Dr Pritt and Dr Knight. Damar is in great hands and it looks like he will receive great on-going care and treatment. The on field medical personnel at Paycor stadium have done an amazing job - Bills/Bengals/Independent all worked together in harmony. All credit to them.
  15. I will not be disappointed in Basham after he leads and choreographs the post game on field dance celebration on February 12 2023 in Glendale Arizona. Lets go Buffalo!
  16. The Bengals really wanted to show the prime time audience who they are. Building up to the game you see the words by Mixon, they seemed to feel disrespected as being team #3 in the AFC mix despite being the reigning AFC Champs. It was a very physical game - Taron injury and evaluation, Josh being rolled up on and then obviously Damar's serious injury. As a fan I am very glad McDermott is our coach, as a human and leader. Remember the Dolphins coaches lip service thoughts on Tua? My thoughts are that we can't fully evaluate this game with less that 10 minutes played in the first quarter - I just wish the Buffalo Bills players and staff are allowed to recover and process what happened as necessary and I am a very proud fan of the Buffalo Bills.
  17. In a time of true crisis it appears that Zac Taylor and the Bengals organization in general were absolutely an ally of the Buffalo Bills. I was watching CNN International from the UK and seeing the Cincinnati fans show up to support Hamlin outside the hospital and then seeing online that the Bengals captains visited the Bills locker room. Both teams really wanted this game, so upsetting that Hamlin sustained such a serious injury.
  18. Best wishes to Damar and all associated with the Buffalo Bills - get well soon. I just want to ask how did the WGR/Buffalo Bills Radio Network manage the unprecedented situation last night? Did they offer rolling updates through the night? Once the game was officially postponed, in the UK, we didn't see the Ryan Clark -SVP studio analysis but we did see Booger and his other two colleagues for a while (before the announcement). I think certain players and coaches will need counselling/mental health support after witnessing the events last night literally first hand.
  19. Firstly, all the very best to Damar Hamlin, get well soon, every Buffalo fan is with you at this time. I just want to give my best wishes to the Buffalo Bills organization, including friends and families of the team and all Bills fans the world over. I also want to give credit to Kirsten Watson, Gregg Rosenthal and MJD as well. It must have been so difficult for them to broadcast as long as they did on Channel 5 in the UK (and parts of Europe). There was someone even watching from Brazil! Like i said previously it this thread, the show is advert free and they were on screen a lot. The show is a bit wacky at times but you could see their facial expressions change and their off screen looking at other cameras that must have been so difficult to endure. To give an example MJD last night asked if Kirsten would date a guy dressed like Jamarr Chase did pregame (she gave a professional diplomatic reply) to news breaking of the ambulance and CPR being given within ninety minutes of the broadcast starting. Channel 5 then cut way from the game quicker than Sky did and a couple of travel documentaries before announcing the postponement. That will be the last MNF on Channel 5 this season irrespective of what happens with rescheduling (that is understandable). At 3.15 am in the morning, I was in complete shock. Given that the rest of the house was sleeping, all I could do was switch over to CNN International and follow TBD on an ancient android tablet. I was waiting for a press conference or formal announcement on screen but CNN didn't show that live. The TBD posters on the main injury thread did a great job, 99.9% of you! Went to sleep at 6am and woke up at 8am! Whatever the Buffalo Bills decide to do I will stand in line behind them. Forfeit the CIN game, play the CiN game, kneel down all game vs NE, withdraw from the postseason etc. Not being American, it just somehow seems that Cincinnati and Buffalo are somehow aligned. With the way the drought ended and how gracious and caring Cincinnati are in this current situation, should I ever visit the USA again Cincinnati will be on the schedule before or after Buffalo. All the best from Europe
  20. Red Zone actually is on Sky Sports Mix - this channel sometimes does not require a full Sky Sports subscription, therefore a lower monthly fee. This a huge game for the UK & Europe (those who can receive the Astra 28.2e satellite). Monday Night Football is broadcast free to air on Channel 5 in the UK, HD available. Buffalo at Cincinnati will be the last game broadcast this season on Channel 5. They don't show the one Monday Night Football playoff game free to air (only on Sky). We get Gregg Rosenthal and MJD as studio pundits. Marcas Grant has joined for two or three shows - I am not familiar with him. The show is broadcast without commercials live from Los Angeles I believe, they always want to show SoFi stadium shots during the broadcast. Kirsten Watson is the host. It appears that Rosenthal is a Patriots* fan and MJD doesn't seem very positive towards Buffalo. Rosenthal in last weeks show has already favoured the Bengals. MJD wasn't there last week. Assuming you already have a TV, everyone in the UK can watch this game for free (yes there is a TV licence fee in the UK - to fund the BBC). Ireland and Benelux countries can definitely watch too, same with northern France and western Germany. Elsewhere depends whether you have a big enough dish. There maybe cable/streaming options that I don't know about. I think this is the last year of a 3 year deal for MNF in the UK, free to air. I hope this gets renewed as we can get some free to air NFL for the 2023 season. Personally, I have been waiting 16 NFL weeks for this fixture. No extra payment or streaming needed. Bring home the W, Buffalo!
  21. I think the backup/reserve players will be critical to the outcome of the game - on both sides, especially on offense. The Bengals have a very capable #4 receiver in Trenton Irwin, who has made several noteworthy plays for them this season. Hayden Hurst is a former 1st round pick and can stretch the field. Samaje Perine held things together when Mixon was out and gives the Bengals a second option out of the backfield. I wonder whether we will elevate both Brown and Beasley for this game, I believe both have one game left before the end of the season. Going to need some contributions from Hines, Shakir, Morris and Gilliam. Bengals defensive players will actively try and strip the ball when in traffic - they have had two huge plays against Kelce and Stevenson - game winning plays. Looking forward to this game. LETS GO BUFFALO!
  22. Mike Evans. Appears to be a combination of a bully and a coward, example versus New Orleans earlier this season.
  23. I like the moving the spot of the kick-off back, especially for the opening kick off and the one to begin the 3rd quarter - just to encourage there to be some kind of genuine guaranteed football activity on that play, as opposed to it being a choreographed sprint with no action 80% of the time. Maybe adopt those suggestions just for 2 kick-off's a game. I am sure there are some games where neither team attempts a kick off return and just takes the guaranteed yardage. If the kick-off is in the field of play (and not through the end zone), a player should be enticed to catch it and take a knee. I hate the kick-off's where the returner barely attempts to even locate the ball and the "no return" hand gestures are given within a second. There is usually the most attention given to opening kick-off and most of the time there is no play apart from the kick bouncing out through the back of the end zone and then waiting another 3/4 minutes for the next play. Camera flashes and no action!
  24. PFN 25 Kaiir Elam CB Florida 57 Travis Jones DT Connecticut 104 Thayer Munford OG Ohio State (T) 129 Calvin Austin III WR Memphis 142 Tyler Goodson RB Iowa (T) 168 Obinna Eze OT TCU 184 James Mitchell TE Virginia Tech 202 Jake Camarda P Georgia Traded down with the LA Rams in Round 3. Picks 89, 229 and 224 to LA. Picks 104 and 142 to Buffalo plus Green Bay’s Round 6 pick and Detroit’s Round 7 pick in 2023. Both obtained via the LA Rams trade.
  25. Saying hello from Watford, England. Normally I'd be in Belgium, bonus being a earlier start by one hour. I have been to America for one day in 2012 when primarily visiting Toronto. From that one day I remember going to the Outlet Mall in Military Road, likewise Walden Galleria, driving through Grand island going to a Wendy's for the first time and spending a good amount of time at the Basilica in Lewiston. Plus saw Niagara Falls from the US side. I had no choice in where I went since my extended family Uncle was driving with shopaholics. I really laughed that at my first sight of America the first thing I saw was an Indian restaurant! I had vaguely followed the NFL previously, had heard about the Bills when very young in the early 1990's on TransWorld Sport. You only heard about the finals or champions then. Remember the Toronto Blue Jays and Nebraska Cornhuskers being prominent on that show. I suppose I really started following Buffalo closely in the 2015 season. Outside of last years AFC Championship game today is the biggest event in my support of the Bills. One day I desire to make it to Orchard Park and see Buffalo play live in person! Best wishes to every Buffalo Bills fan wherever they may be. Let's win tonight on the road and anticipate a home game next Sunday.
