By then Murphy and Star will come off the books with their replacements drafted. Allen is only in year two, same for Edmunds and both have the 5th year option. Milano will get decent $ but an OLB isn’t going to break the bank. That leaves plenty to pay Tre the top CB money he deserves and likely top 5 LT money to Dawkins. With the way in which Beane got this team to this point cap wise, I’m not worried about him retaining the necessary parts while maintaining enough cap space to address needs as they arise.

Enjoy this Bill's team now!

Good thing they got like $80-$90 million in cap space... -
He also has the worst compliment of skill players I’ve seen in awhile, especially with Edelman banged up all season and likely on the decline himself. Odd that they got rid of Gordon but- They had Newhouse starting at LT The ground game hasn’t been great in supporting him No Gronkowski, No more Gordon for whatever reason, N’Keal Harry was banged up most of the season, Sanu was injured, Dorsett injured... Lots of factors into Tom’s “decline”

3-3 over next six games and we make playoffs

I’m not sure which, but they will get an “upset” win against either the Cowboys, Ravens or Pats. I think this defense is best built to beat the Pats honestly, I see them having a hard time trying to contain both Zeke and the Ravens on the ground. -
Are we in trouble with Ford?

Perhaps... it’s definitely a possibility, that much we can all agree on. -
Would you want the Bills to sign Tom Brady?
Delete_Delete_Delete replied to BillsFan8083's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They got the cap room... Don’t think I could see him or his wife spending significant time in Buffalo however, although perhaps a state of the art training facility and a staff that has kept the roster relatively healthy might appeal to an aging QB. Its still too early in the season, but if Josh doesn’t start “turning the corner” between reading the field, ball security, and his inability to hit a deep throw, I would be open to an improvement of any sorts at the most important position in the game. I would also be open to bringing Teddy Bridgewater in if Josh continues to look like a project QB who might never get there. Allen is a great kid, but I care more about my team winning football games than if my QB is the most liked player in the league. Just give me the guy who gives this team it’s best chance at winning a Super Bowl. -
Bengals release Preston Brown

Not going to get much better than Josh Gordon at this stage of the season... But apparently he’s not talented enough to help this team get to the post season, but he is however just good enough to play on one of the top teams in the game... Allen doesn’t need a big, physical, 6’3 target with speed to get downfield, and a proven track record of being able to play at a HIGH level... -

I wouldn’t mind seeing him brought back for obvious run defense help, especially in short yardage situations, although “goal to go” clearly isn’t the problem, it’s getting run on everywhere in between. -
NFC Slug-Fest: Hawks @ 9ers

If only Allen had a 6’3 physical, proven WR to throw to on 3rd downs that was just sitting there for the taking halfway through the season, and also knew the Patriots playbook... -

No point in having an inconsistent kicker, and one who can’t hit from +50 yards out when you can just go out and find a Chase McGlaughlin out on the street. They gave Hauschka some guaranteed money, but not enough to justify keeping him on the roster if he can’t do his job. Guys like him and Lee Smith who are on guaranteed deals but have had some real bad negative plays are still expendable. If they could eat Dareus’ cap hit, they should be working out kickers. -
Niners vs Pat's in Superbowl: (Obvious)
Delete_Delete_Delete replied to BuffaloButt's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hahahah, what? Niners and Pats both had cup cake schedules and when faced with real competition both have been smacked in the mouth. Ravens completely outclassed the Pats last week and have a much more dynamic offense. As for the Niners, I don’t think they’ll make it out of the divisional round, the NFC is way tougher. Saints, GB, Minnesota, Dallas, and these Seahawks, all teams I would all pick over the Niners in a playoff game regardless of where it’s played. -
Singletary finishes with EIGHT rushing attempts

I agree, McDermott needs to nut up and make a change before it’s too late. They might even have the right guy in house in Ken Dorsey. Daboll has overstayed his welcome in this league, you only get so many chances to fail miserably as an OC, back to college for him, give the reigns to Ken and pray for the best. Daboll isn’t going to magically turn into a good playcaller, he never has been, never will be, a year in Bama didn’t change that fact. -
Where does the 10th win come from?
Delete_Delete_Delete replied to letsgoteam's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What’s the point in getting in at 9-7 anyway? So they can be one and done again? Fire Daboll, promote Dorsey, the offense is a total ***** show. Without a sudden boost in offensive production they have no chance at getting to 10 wins. -

Stopped reading when you tried to criticize my “football acumen”, get a grip potato chip. No that’s not my only takeaway, but it’s the most glaring deficiency on offense, (aside from suspect playcalling and getting into away from the run in a close game). That was his strongest attribute last year, the big play. They need that. It cost them huge today. You’re little diatribe isn’t going to change the 14 points he left on the field, in what was a 3 point scoring differential. Deep ball is going to come? FOH, they are past the half way point of the year and he has yet to connect, despite his other worldly arm talent... Can’t blame Daboll for that. So yes, ultimately Josh failing to utilize his best skill as a QB is what lead to the loss today. It was their for the taking, he missed, more than once, pretty simple actually. -

Is the Defense perfect? No, no such thing as evident by the Pats thrashing at the hands of the Ravens last week. To say the defense didn’t do it’s job today however is ignorant. They did more than enough and get next to no support from the offense. Clearly you’re one of those guys who puts the fan hood of his favorite QB ahead of the team, I’ve seen it time and time again since the Kelly era ended. If Josh hits those deep balls they win, no? -

It’s the NFL, every offense is going to make plays from time to time, even the worst. The Bengals scored today... It’s not any narrative, the defense held them to 19 points, they did their job. That drive should’ve been garbage time for Mayfield. The defense shut down hoe many goal to go try’s in a row? Came up with a huge safety to tie the game. Yeah, this loss is on the ineptness of the offense. Hauschka can get like 5%, but again they should be scoring Touchdowns. The offense needs to convert the big plays that are afforded to them. No, none of this loss is on the defense, sorry Charlie. -

The defense held them to 19 points... No part of this L is on them. To be a championship caliber football team, you have to be able to score more than 20 points against the Browns, or any other NFL defense for that matter. Josh left touchdowns on the field, that’s literally the difference in the game...
