Josh looks tense in warm ups. Play loose and no hero ball Josh. -

Milano shouldn't be as good as he is. But he just makes plays. He almost had a INT last week. -

Wrong. You stop great TEs with safeties and corners covering them especially when they line up wide. Linebackers don't have the speed or size to keep up with the great TEs. At least DBs have the speed. -

Don't think I've ever read that on here. I think the argument was play him now to get valuable experience for 2021. He doesn't look any worse than Josh did his rookie year. -
What will be the game plan???

What will be the game plan???
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
White should play man coverage on Juju all game. Play zone behind that. Timely blitzes. Allen needs a designed QB run in the first series or two. Keep the backs in to block. Steelers still use a lot of zone blitzes so they need to play smart and Josh needs to trust the o-line to hold up. -
QB succession, how hard is it?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to chris heff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You are setting the bar very high. Pretty much going from HOF to HOF player. If you lower expectations just a bit there have been teams that have transitioned from one capable QB to another... Seattle - Hasselbeck to Wilson Dallas- Meredith to Morton(took Dallas to a SB) to Staubach, Romo to Dak, Staubach to White Cinci - Anderson to Esiason Atlanta - Chandler to Vick to Ryan Vikings - Tarkenton to Kramer Chiefs - Smith to Mahomes, Montana to Bono to Grbac to Green that is 13 years of decent QB play with a lot of playoff runs -

He was a borderline HOF QB. He made it so a SuperBowl. -

Allen will get hit and sacked today.. Steelers front 4 is too good. He must hold onto the ball today Bills! Bills O-line needs to pass block and run block well today. I suspect they will blitz 5 often. Knox and Beasley over the middle should be wide open if the blitz Fitzpatrick or use him to double Diggs. Ben had been known to have a multi turnover game from time to time. If I'm McD I dress Knox, Smith, and Kroft. Gilliam is worthless. They need the pass catching of Knox and Kroft and the blocking of Smith today. Go Bills. Leslie it's time to let White play Juju all over the field. Box and 1 defense. Play zone and let White follow Juju everywhere. -

I’m not a gambler, but I though home field advantage was 3 points. Is it lower in 2020 because of no fans? -
Bills sign Brandon Beane to contract extension!!!
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He got the QB position right. That's 95% of his job. No matter if he overspends on average or even below average free agents, he deserves the extension for maneuvering and drafting Allen. -
Diggs proves the trade skeptics wrong
Ethan in Cleveland replied to 27yanks's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Trade skeptics were mostly with regard and in comparison to what Buffalo fave up compared to Arizona for Hopkins. Everyone feels Hopkins is a better WR and the trade value given up by Arizona was far less. But in the end that doesn't much matter. Diggs appears to be well worth the 1st round pick. -
Confirmed: Moss benched after fumble
Ethan in Cleveland replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
By that logic Josh fumbling the snap last week should have resulted in benching. It too is the easiest part of the job. Seems like a gross overreaction by McD. Another poster wondered if there was more to the story such as meeting or practice issues. That would make more sense to send a message. -
Confirmed: Moss benched after fumble
Ethan in Cleveland replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Do you really think he didn’t know it was not ok to fumble on the five yard line??? Seems to be an odd way of dealing with accountability. The Bills are among the worst penalized teams in the leagu. Where is the accountability for that? Yes he will. All running backs fumble at some point. All QBs throw interceptions. Should McD bench Allen when he inevitably throws his first red-zone pick to teach him it’s not ok? -

Honestly 1 punt?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd take two more punts and one less turnover. But I get what you are saying. This offense is special. -
Can we get some love for McDermott?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've been a critic for a while. I am impressed with how the team has responded after the AZ game. I am also impressed with his aggressiveness on offense. Time management has gotten a bit better. I appreciate his willingness to move Edmunds to OLB for at least a few snaps a game. I think the defense still lacks aggressiveness at times. I saw several DB pass rushes last night but most were zone blitzes and in the end they didn't bring more than 4 or 5 guys most of the night. I still don't understand Gilliam dressing over Kroft. Kroft can do everything Gilliam does and more. Also not sure why Norman isn't even getting a few plays during the game rotating with Wallace. -
I agree with you. I’ve posted on this before. It’s Lean management or Toyota Production/Management System101. That said, culture didn’t transform the offense. The trade for Diggs and the signing of Williams did. They had the same culture two years ago but the worst offensive line and the worst WR group in the league. They have added a lot of talent in two years.

Feleciano replacing Winters at RG in the game
Ethan in Cleveland replied to ILBillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agree but I’d like to see Bates get a few reps over Winters if any of the new starting interior linemen go down again
