  1. Fields is far better than Haskins. He is as good a thrower as Darnold ever was. Darnold can't throw under pressure and it was evident at USC. Fields reminds me most of DeShaun Watson. Fields is a better passer than Jackson but nowhere near the runner. Herbert is a much more polished passer with some run ability but not much. I'm still surprised how well he has played. I would not take Fields at #2. If I'm Joe Douglas I trade down and see what Darnold does with a better supporting cast around him. I still see him as a game manager type QB but in the right setting he can be good enough. No need to waste another pick on a QB so early. Now that said if they trade back and a QB is available later in the first round it would not be a bad idea to draft another QB.
  2. Oh my how the hell did I forget that. Thanks. That was unreal. He should have gotten at least 4 game suspension for that hit. I need my morning latte. Not quite awake yet.
  3. I remember Wolford elbowing Losman's knee. I dont recall any others? I know they hit Allen hard and knocked him out of the game last year but it wasn't a dirty hit.
  4. Where is the home/away schedule for future years? I know the division rotation but have not seen the hone/away set to a rotation.
  5. Interesting. I’ve never seen the home and away known this early. Maybe I’ve just missed it. Thanks for posting. KC is an option to travel to, but the other good away games are really long flights from PNW. Ugh. Maybe Tampa or New Orleans. I’ve been to New Orleans multiple times and Tampa/Jax are horrible places to visit.
  6. KC is a great city with great dining and good fans. I’ve seen two games there in the past including the Chan Gailey beating.
  7. How do you know home and away already? I know the divisions and playing the other AFC division winners.
  8. They have yet to show a view down the LOS so it is hard to tell. Looked like his head was directly in line with the ball if you drew a line at the same angle the camera appeared to be. From what I have heard, officials usually give them a warning when they are lining up Offside. Maybe that was not the first time
  9. Me too and I actually think Al talks too much. Likes to hear himself talk. Not as bad as Joe Buck.
  10. Remember all the experts including many on this board who lost their ***** when Green Bay didn’t draft a WR...
  11. Mahommes throws a more accurate deep ball. Allen is a better runner. Mahommes has 4 fewer interceptions and 4 fewer lost fumbles. They are very close but Mahomes is just a little more careful with the football with a year more experience and a legendary play caller.
  12. Mayock said that three years after he was drafted. Revisionist history and he was not saying that in 2007 right after the draft. I will give you its more of a weighted lottery. The bust rate increases with every round for sure. And the pro bowl and HOF numbers are more frequent in the earlier rounds. But the fact of the matter is these guys have no special talent to predict future performance. They all miss on guys terribly. How many GMs passed on Brady, Wilson, Brees, and Rodgers? You can't write the history of the NFL without those guys and they were passed over by just about every GM and multiple times in many cases.
  13. Murphy hasn’t dressed for a game in a month. The defense is playing better, so I agree don’t mess with it. That said Zimmer and Harrison are just not that good andI could see them trying to make a move to shore up the run D before facing Baltimore,Cleveland, and Tenn in the playoffs.
  14. It's a lottery. The Bills won the lottery. They maneuvered everything to take on those QBs. If the Jets had taken Allen, Beane would have taken Rosen or Darnold and who knows where the Bills would be right now. Mayock loved JaMarcus Russell too. These guys are like seismologists. They are great at analyzing things that have already occurred but are worthless at predicting the future. The only guy I would say that was ever consistently better than the rest was Ozzie Newsome. All the rest either suck or are not better than the average GM.
  15. Not discounting anything you are stating, but pretty sure most people think Aaron Rodgers is an odd guy and off putting to many. A douche? Maybe not that bad. But he has talent so he can act any way he wants. If Rosen can play no one will care if he is a jerk. Most of the bickering Bills thought Kelly was a dick.
  16. The intrigue is whether to sign them to an extension after this season or push it until after the fourth year knowing they still can exercise fifth year option and franchise tags in the future.
  17. He was my #2 after Allen. Tampa didn’t cut him so it’s a bit misleading to say 4 teams in three years. SF signed him away from the Bucs to their active roster. Even now I still think he has a better chance of succeeding than Darnold. In the right QB friendly system maybe he can be a capable starter. Very unlikely at this point but SF is an interesting landing spot.
  18. KC had to come from far behind in the playoffs against the Texans and in the SuperBowl. Don’t underestimate Reid’s ability to choke in the big game. I worry that Kelce could go for 200 yards reviewing against the Bills D, but the Bills can match them score for score.
  19. 1st: Adams and Hopkins 2nd: Diggs and Hill 3rd: Metcalf and Allen? If he has another monster game on MNF against the Pats maybe that will push him into #1 spot
