  1. Yeah I saw that. There is also a sign that has both Sheridan and Buffalo
  2. Interesting topic. In terms of star status and a FA signing, it seems closest to Mario Williams. I however immediately thought of Bryce Paup and the impact he had on the defense. He played OLB in a 3-4, but would likely be a 4-3 DE today. Let's hope Miller can generate a season like Paup had in 1995 also his first with the Bills.
  3. Making the cross country drive and stopped in Wyoming for dinner. Wore my white Bills hat with the standing red buffalo. Lots of positive Allen comments from wait staff and fellow diners. I know a few colleagues from Wyoming that have embraced Allen and the Bills as well. On to South Dakota and Minnesota tomorrow.
  4. Interesting take. Dawkins, Poyer, Hyde, Davis, and heck even Singletary are playing at an elite level.
  5. It was a big game. He will run less against lesser opponents. What dir he start 10 for 10 so you really can't say he needs to run early to get into the game. The stiff arm looked nice but that is his throwing hand. He'll either hand is invaluable. Needs to cut down those risk plays.
  6. Yes this is correct. He is 100% safe this year no matter the outcome. Barring something crazy like what was found on Gruden.
  7. Still don't understand the Collinsworth hate on this board. He has a style. He talks up the stars and tries to highlight a few unsung heros on the lines from time to time. I've never detected an anti-Buffalo bias. He loves the fan base in Buffalo. We sucked for the majority of his broadcasting career and he must have called dozens of Brady's games. What is he supposed to say when you lose for 17 years?
  8. Good problem to have. We have no idea how Tre will play when he comes back. Also, pass rush makes any DB look better. Even knowing what we know now, I think DB in the first round was the right move.
  9. Thats always been the best formula to win. Easy to say but very difficult to pull off. Miller was amazing and everyone else did their part. Now just stay healthy, build big leads, and let the kids rush the passer all 4th quarter
  10. "Teach him a lesson" is the dumbest coaching move in sports
  11. Dam, Singletary looks good. Maybe he is worth a second contract at the right price
  12. I would have gone with Lawson over Epenesa. However they really need to know if Epenesa is a bust or not. They need live action to determine that so it makes sense. Still think Lawson is the better player.
  13. Hope so but we all thought the same thing before the Pittsburgh game and that was at home. This is Rams on the road. Will be tough. Just hope they don't come out flat. Oline should be much better opening day 2022 than it was last year.
  14. Are the Bills more talented? Even if so it is not by much. Rams are very good and have best defensive player in the NFL. Bills are missing Tre. That said I think this offense is going to be special. Bills 38 Rams 31 Please no repeat stinker like last year on national television.
  15. Screen pass to Singletary
  16. First nobody really knows how good or bad Daboll was. Second we know absolutely nothing about Dorsey. Third we have Josh Allen, which makes whoever is calling plays look good. Daboll didn't get beat blocking on 4th and 1 at Tenn and he didn't give up a FG with 13 seconds left. I think the Bills offense will be just fine if the oline stays healthy. Im more worried about that #1 defense facing real QBs this season.
  17. Lol...the movers are packing up the stuff right now and the drive east starts tomorrow....new username soon
  18. Sadly Probably takeout in Boise Idaho....
  19. I know I'm in the minority but I really don't like the Bills Mafia name. I don't have a different suggestion, but not sure why we can't just be referred to as Bills fanbase. Hate hate the jumping /crashing tables nonsense too.
  20. Will be very interesting to see who dresses week 1. Neither Lawson or Epenesa play STs. One of them probably doesn't dress. Based on preseason Lawson should play but reports from camp said Epenesa was ahead of him.
  21. And the literature - surgery vs no surgery shows no difference in outcomes at least for the general public. In NBA seems pretty routine to get surgery but lots more jumping there obviously. A bit more variable in NFL it seems.
  22. Really??? Even Nathan Peterman thinks its silly for the Bills message board to call out other teams difficultly finding a franchise QB.
  23. And cut your losses when you screw up... All GMs miss at times. To Beane's credit he got rid of Ford and Araiza and my guess is Epenesa will be let go after he disappoints this year. Let's hope they got it right with Elam.
  24. Good DTs are incredibly hard to find despite a bunch being drafted in the early rounds. A middle linebacker can be replaced with a rookie without missing a step or they can go with a reasonably priced veteran for a year or two. Bills already did it once when they drafted Edmunds and he started day 1. Makes no sense to commit big money to Edmunds.
  25. The freed up cap space for this season has nothing to do with this. It is a four year extension from 2023 to 2026.
