Parsons traded to Green Bay, given $188 million contract

My bad. I meant late in the first round picks which is what he is holding onto -

Fair points.i would argue middle of the road gets you to the playoffs. Elite wins championships. Chiefs have had multiple elite pieces on offense and defense. We were close with Allen, Diggs, Miller, White, and Milano before the injuries. -

Lol.. isn't it ironic to see this thread just above the Jordan Poyer thread. One team getting a generational pass rusher and another gifting $400K to a washed up safety. -
Bills Working Out Kickers - Bass Not Healthy?
Ethan in Cleveland replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hopkins has not had great success. He's been up and down ever since he left Buffalo including last year. He just got beat out by a rookie. But he is an experienced veteran and Im surprised he is not being looked at -

We can't stop the run now. We play with the lead a lot. Two number 1s for the second best pass rusher in the league. I make that deal in a heart beat. Two generational players in Allen and Parsons - one on offense and one on defense. Beane refuses to go all in, instead hoarding late round draft picks so he can waste them next year F!!!!!! On the other side, bad trade for Dallas. -
I'm not a McDermott fan but you can see the theme for coach of the year. They are mostly reclamation project teams or teams that have not been even to a Championship game that are expected to compete.

Veteran salary for PS is $17,500 to $22,000 per week. So his salary is somewhere between $315-396K assuming 18 weeks.

Optimism: Allen will continue to evolve by distributing the ball and begin running less and less Cook, OL, and other backs will provide a consistent rushing attack Healthy Kincaid catches 80 balls Knox one of my favorites on the team makes 25 catches for 4 TDs and scores a TD in the SuperBowl Pessimism: Nah I'm not going there now. Bring on the Ravens!

I would have preferred adding a Kicker to the PS. If Bass' groin flares up then they could elevate someone for game day. With the ability to elevate players for game day the PS has a little more value than it did in the past.

I mean even the most staunch Beane and McDermott defenders on this board, can't support this right?

Bills Initial Roster - No real surprises
Ethan in Cleveland replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
This! 90% of this board guessed the top 48-50 guys. 18 game schedule, 2 bye weeks, no preseason games! -
MVS released from the Seahawks

Speed. You can't coach speed. He had 385 yards, 4 TDs and 22 YPC last year in only 8 games with Saints. Prorate that over 17 games and as compared to Bills WR group, only Shakir would have had more receptions and yards. Hollins had 5 TD last year in 17 games and Coleman had the highest YPC at 19. -

Good point. SVPG as the heir apparent to McGovern may be wishful thinking. It would be a good cap saving move if he could take over that role next year though. Anderson is an interesting case. It will be interesting to see how many 3 TE sets have him or Hawes on the field. If they start using Hawes more and more Anderson could be odd man out. Probably not this year but perhaps next. His best chance of sticking on the roster may be as the back-up C. -

I think you are spot on. Hopefully Carter shows something and they can cut Ogunjobi. Problem is he will probably be a healthy scratch. Hell they might even elevate Phillips from the PS on game day and sit Carter. Solomon or Epenesa goes when Hoecht comes off suspension. Assuming Bosa stays healthy. Lundt or VanDemark go when Grable can play. Who dresses on game day may give some clue who is low man on the roster. Sorry to be an alarmist but CB is still a disaster. -
Yeah kind of weird. Not sure why they couldn't just sign him to PS later. I don't think there is a cap advantage to do this, but maybe there is.

Sadly CB is actually a much worse problem than Safety at this point -

Congrats to the kid! Hard work can pay off! Good story. Will be interesting to see if all WRs are healthy do they dress 6? Still no work on Moore that I have seen so Im assuming they kept 6 -

Dustin Hopkins cut by Browns. Could be a good PS guy to sign if Bass is struggling -

Lol...i was joking, but .... Beane did seem to care about what some radio guys were saying about his WR group...I think we'd all be surprised how thin skinned and ego maniacs these guys are -

Jets cut WR taken with first pick in 3rd round. Said he is highest pick from 2024 to be cut. Now we can cut Carter without being singled out by ESPN -
Levi Wallace is in Buffalo (for lunch)

Hopefully he is carrying Hyde's luggage. -
Honest question, Can he play OT? I understand he is 6th OL playing at OT/TE in heavy packages. But can he really play RT or LT? I thought his value was that he could play Center not OT in a pinch.
