  1. Honest question, Can he play OT? I understand he is 6th OL playing at OT/TE in heavy packages. But can he really play RT or LT? I thought his value was that he could play Center not OT in a pinch.
  2. Again not to quibble but most of us don't see him as even a borderline starter. Bishop developing makes the argument moot
  3. I wouldn't say Singletary was a wasted pick. He was ok starter. Time will tell on Cooper. Was it the player, injury, or Brady's inability to incorporate him? He made a handful of catches last year that others guys don't make. But I understand the disappointment.
  4. Lol. See what you did there. You aptly described him as a backup special teams quality player. The problem is he was the starter before the injury and most of last year.
  5. Thought he was primarily working at CB. I'm easily confused...
  6. Of course he is Can't wait for those 2026 draft picks to make an impact this year!
  7. I think many of us don't feel he is an average player. Many of us feel if he wasn't on the Bills roster he wouldn't be on any roster, thus far below an average player. And lastly many of us are worried that his story clouds the judgement on his ability. Im happy for him. Its a great story. Hopefully Bishop plays well and he hardly sees the field.
  8. Looks like Strong makes it and is safety #5? Rapp, Bishop, Hamlin, Lewis, Strong?
  9. Lol. Get ready for him to start. McDermott can't help himself.
  10. Only one draft pick released so far. Curious to see if Lundt makes it to the final 53. Anyone know how much he did or didnt play in Tampa game?
  11. I know. He's a very expensive special teams player. But to his credit he did have one forced fumble on kick off coverage unit last year or the year before. I can't recall.
  12. Correct! There is only one acceptable response. There are rules to society and if they start breaking down chaos reigns! Soon dogs will be sleeping with cats. Mass hysteria. Real end times stuff.
  13. Surprises would be somebody like VanDemark or Grable. Yes both reserves but many thought they would be relative roster lock. Will be interesting to see if one of them gets cut to make room for Lundt. I always hope for a Gilliam cut but it never happens. I'd much rather carry an extra roster spot pretty much anywhere( maybe except LB) than carry a FB. Please no "He can play TE comments". They have 3 credible TEs and use a 6th OL at TE3 already.
  14. Ouch that would be a surprise. Several on here thought he had some upside as a situational pass rusher.
  15. Not defending Young really. Just stating facts. That said my opinion is Epenesa sucks and Young at least has an excuse for poor play.
  16. We have not seen it lately because when Bernard couldn't play MLB, Milano was still out too. So we got to see Kleine and Spector alongside Williams. You have an interesting point though. If Bernard is hurt does Williams play MLB or do they go with Shaq Thompson assuming he makes the team? Buffalo Joe is terrible at LB. If he plays LB they are screwed. If he wasnt a local product there would be far less interest. To be honest I'm not even sure he is any good at special teams, not that I care who plays LB on special teams.
  17. Young has been injured Epepensa has not
  18. He's a solid return guy in a league that is now bringing back more return opportunities. But like Matakevich he can't play his defensive position at all. So you have to account for that in your 53 roster construction. Lets be honest, it wouldn't even be an issue if Elam panned out at CB or Hairston was ready to play. But now it is an issue.
  19. Agree. Looked really bad.
  20. I get it that Beane drafted Hairston and he got hurt, but right now the secondary is a flaming disaster. Like season altering disaster. As it stands now what are we looking at, Ingram starting at CB#2? Lewis as CB#3? Time to trade some future draft picks and get someone that can play CB. Hoping a broken down White and a rookie who hasn't played in weeks is the answer at CB is pure negligence. And that doesn't even address the safety issue where at best there is great uncertainty with Bishop. Maybe he plays well which would be a welcome surprise. The rookie DL looks good so far. Props for him addressing the DL. Even if Carter looks like a bust and we have to wait 6 weeks for Hoecht to play, the kids look ready to contribute. Win now at all costs. Go find a competent CB#2.
  21. This post lasted 45 min...
  22. Dam. I know some on here think he is washed up. Will be interesting to see how he does.
  23. I'd be shocked if this happens. Can't imagine they would go with a rookie starter and an underperforming second year at the 1 tech. Phillips is not a 1 tech to line up next to Oliver in run downs. He is best served as an interior pass rusher to line up next to Oliver on 2rd and 3rd and long situations. But what the hell lets put even more pressure on Allen to score 40 a game
