The whole idea of having "draft capital" in the NFL should be to use it as best you can in order to acquire someone like Mahomes or Allen. That's the hypothetically ideal scenario. And it's not a 2-way street. You use draft capital to get a guy like that, if you can. You don't liquidate a guy like that to get draft capital.

Aside from the greater dangers of gambling in general, I am noticing that already "sports talk" is turning into "gambling talk." A LOT of content out there is now purely about the gambling aspects of the sport, and I have zero interest in any of that. And for me, there is a huge difference between "football talk" and "football betting talk". They are 2 different things. I feel like the whole thing is going to deteriorate into some form of horse racing.

I noticed that too; that seems to be all the rage on these NFL halftime shows; all these millionaire ex-players with their millionaire TV salaries, standing around in SUITS....and wearing what looks like black sneakers with thick, white, rubber soles. When did that ***** become hip in NYC? I'm still waiting for these thin ties and suit jacket lapels to widen back up! Suits have been cut to 1965/1983 specs now for like 15 years. I'm done with it!

At least you are learning. The ups and downs of this team impacted me much more greatly when I was a kid. I was in undergrad during the Super Bowl years...the team really did have an impact on me. Now, whatever we get on Sunday, I'm usually recovered in about 20 minutes. No joke. I think it's called "maturity."

Actually I'd rather swallow broken glass than hang out at a football forum that isn't Bills related--and even this one is tough to do at times. What I meant was they are GREAT fans who CARE about the team, are knowledgable, and the team/games mean a lot to them in the course of their weekly lives. Some fanbases are like that. A lot aren't. It's pathetic when Bills fans attack other fans, pretending that only Bills fans are the best. And then we have home playoff games that aren't sell outs...but I guess that's OK.

Would love to have a copy of the prenup in my hands. I'm sure this arrangement won't take away from his other adventures. He's that kind of guy.
