  1. There's only so much you can do with the dump offs and the Bills did a lot of that today. But with a penalty prone O-line that cant pass protect and a non-existent running game it only takes one negative yardage play or a penalty to wreck your check down Charlie offense. In the first half today the Bills had the ball THREE times. That's right - THREE FREAKING TIMES. And it wasn't because they were three and outing every possession. * On the Bills first possession down 7 - 0 they had a nice drive with Allen taking what the defense gave them. Then on 3rd & 3 at the Colts 30 Allen looked like he would have easily picked up the first down on a sweep only to see the play whistled dead because Ford jumped the gun. Then on 3rd & 8 we had a holding call that pushed us out of FG range and into a 3rd & 18. The next play was an INT. When you have an undisciplined O-line that can't block the short passing game is not the answer. * On the Bills 2nd possession they drove for a TD. * On the Bills 3rd possession after McKenzie's horrible fumble that gave the Colts a 24 - 7 lead the Bills drove into FG range only to see the long FG hit the goalpost. * On the Bills 4th possession at the start of the 3rd quarter two dropped passes forced the Bills into a 3 and out.
  2. Agreed. Win the next two games and we're sitting at 8 - 4 and first place in the AFC East. We can all agree that the Bills sucked today. If they don't play better there won't even be a wild card playoff game in the Bills future this season. I get that. But then again five weeks ago that's what EVERYONE was saying about KC when they sat at 3 - 4 after having gotten beaten badly by the Bills & Titans. Now they've won four in a row and are the 2nd hottest team in the AFC after NE.
  3. Call me a cantankerous, behind the times old man but what the hell is "custom wearable art"?
  4. And the penalties were off the chart bad. They extended at least two Jaguar drives preventing a couple of three and outs. The PF's and holding by the O-line after the Bills had crossed midfield on multiple occasions likley wiped out 6 - 10 points. There were also a couple of drops that came at crucial points in the game.
  5. Is Aikman for real? What's wrong with the guy? My goodness he's blaming the OT for that INT? Are you kidding me?
  6. Last week against the Jets comes to mind. Maybe Atlanta will jump in the Watson sweepstakes?
  7. Yep. I expect a steady diet of the Pats run game with a few short passes thrown in. The Falcons D will probably fold. Hell the Pats might go deep off play action.
  8. Pats got greedy. Should have kept throwing those flat passes. Given how well the Patriots are running the ball it does make you wonder why the downfield play action pass isn't there.
  9. Agreed. It's easy to throw darts but the man knows how to coach and his team executes to near perfection. It's on the Bills with more talent on their roster to win the division by beating the Pats twice. If we don't it's on us.
  10. Let them gush it means nothing. Hell they were gushing about us after we beat KC. The Bills need to take care of business, win the next two games and then deal with the Pats on Monday night.
  11. I would say the Pats are efficient, well coached and don't make mistakes. But at some point a defense is going to shut down that short passing game and then we'll see how good they are.
  12. Oh and after that terrible sack can we quit criticizing Allen for taking bad sacks? I mean that one by Ryan was worse then anything Allen had taken since his rookie year.
  13. First a terrible spot by the POS ref and now 6 called penalties on Atlanta; one on NE.
  14. That was a hold? BS! You call a hold on 3rd and 9 to GUARANTEE that the first down is not made. Notice how garbage man Aikman made no comment on the replay clearing showing NO HOLD. It's getting harder and harder to watch the NFL. For the count: Four called penalties on the Falcons, one on the Pats.
  15. I'm thinking the Bills D can handle the short passing game of the Pats.
  16. Atlanta's defense at least looks interested in the game tonight which is a good sign.
  17. Didn't Green Bay go on the road and beat a 7 - 0 Arizona team missing half a dozen key starters including BOTH their WR's and TE? Sure I would rather have Brown in the line up but if we can't at least split the next two games with him out we don't deserve to win the division.
  18. And what impressed me the most about this game was that at the end of the 2nd quarter Allen threw a bad pick 6. He came out in the 3rd and led the Bills on a long TD drive. It was like the pick 6 only pissed him off. That told me that he had the Kelly/Elway/Farve QB gene.
  19. Like you I am shocked at the number of people who say Allen played poorly in this game. We see this mostly on 2BD by some posters. As soon as I see a post claiming Allen didn't play all that well in the Colts game I dismiss that poster as a football illiterate who is simply trolling. The fact is that Allen played fantastic and that it was one of, if not the best, performance by a QB in the playoffs last season.
  20. That was a good catch though!
  21. Agree, but all we need to do IMO is split with the Pats and then beat the Jets. Even if we drop an extra game we'll win the Division on the 2nd tie breaker (division record).
