  1. And while we're wishing, right before the KO of the game you're describing a lake effect snowstorm engulfs Rich Stadium!
  2. Yep, he was running like Montezuma was hot on his tail with revenge in mind!
  3. Refs suck. 15 freaking guys on the field and they missed it. Wow, that sure inspires confidence in the striped morons.
  4. Wow I love the Ravens game plan. By running the ball so much it looks like they caught Cleveland completely by surprise.
  5. It was an amazing throw which is what Colinsworth noted. If Knox hadn't been interfered with it would have been a TD. This is what we need from Allen. Sure hit the check downs and take the easier throws 90% of the time but every once and a while let it rip. That throw is what scares Defensive coordinators and actually opens up the underneath stuff. There were two other big time deep throws that almost connected. The first one was the near 50 yard completion to Gabe on the sideline. Allen was under severe pressure and almost hit that throw. The other was the jump ball to Knox downfield where he should have caught it.
  6. What we saw from Allen tonight looked a lot like what we've seen from Mahomes, Watson, Brees & Rogers over the last couple of years. You're watching the game and those guys start slowly throw a pick or two and then suddenly a switch goes off and they can't miss a pass. Allen completed 11 straight passes and thew 2 TD passes in back to back drives that basically put the game out of reach. This is what Kelly would do back in the day after a slow start. We are seeing something special blossom in Buffalo.
  7. If Northwestern stays within 3 TD's of the Buckeye I'll be shocked YoloinOhio. That game is going to get ugly real fast. With the college conference championships and the Bills playing next Saturday it's going to be the best day of football since they invented the game!
  8. What a clutch win. Pittsburgh came to play as they knew that their season was slipping away if they didn't beat the Bills tonight. Allen and the offense started slowly but a crucial FG drive at the end of the 1st half followed up by a spectacular pick 6 and the Bills had the halftime lead. Collinsworth actually had a great point. The first half was a heavy weight fight with both teams throwing haymakers at each other and Buffalo emerging with a 9 - 7 lead. Then against all expectations the Bills O and Allen came out and dominated the 3rd quarter. First an opening 2nd half TD drive that featured Diggs, who IMO is the best WR in the NFL and then the D snuffed the Steelers with a 3 and out and a second TD drive by the Offense. This time a shoulder shake throw to Davis and all of a sudden it was 23 - 7 and game over. The Bills won what amounted to a playoff game tonight. It was an old school slobber knocker until Buffalo took control in the 3rd quarter. It's been over 25 years since we've seen a Bills team win a game like this against a very good opponent. That is they started-slowly, trailed 7 - 0 with two minutes left in the first half yet went on to win by eleven points taking a knee at the Steelers 20 yard line. The Bills last drive was the cherry on the top. Using up the last 7 minutes by mostly running the football was impressive.
  9. After watching the Miami/KC game and seeing the amazing TE play on the field we desperately need to upgrade this position.
  10. This was the game in which the Bills didn't punt right? It was a series of weird stuff that happened to keep us out of the end zone but if the Jets D figured the Bills out they sure didn't show it that day.
  11. I disagree on your basic premise here. Allen is beyond having a single game define him unless that game is a conference championship or the Super Bowl. Allen has convinced me he is the Bills franchise QB and is a top 5 talent. But that doesn't mean he won't lay an egg and play terribly. Aaron Rogers is a top 5 guy and played horribly against Tampa Bay. I hope Allen plays great Sunday night but even more I hope we win. But if Allen stumbles so be it. Won't change my belief in the least that he's a top 5 QB.
  12. My guess is that Beasley may have a quite night because of this. On the other hand Diggs & Davis my explode.
  13. I thought that was a great interview. Some of the better questions that I've seen Allen get. One thing that comes across loud and clear is that Allen is that rare person with immense raw talent combined with a blank canvas willingness to learn. This whole experiment has worked because of this willingness and kudos to Bean and McD for seeing it in Allen back in 2018.
  14. I will go to my death bed saying the lateral was NOT a crazy play. It was unconventional by NFL standards TODAY but back in the 1960's/1970's NFL players actually did that on a fairly regular basis. As for Allen's play in that game he was fantastic in the first half. If he had Diggs & Davis out their instead of Duke and whoever the Bills would have been up by at least 17 and probably 21 to nothing at half. And while Allen did get rattled a bit on two drives in the 4th quarter he got it back together again nicely at the end of the game to force OT. And in OT he made a couple of great throws and if just ONE of 3 Bills had got a hat on the Texan LB on that Allen run to the right, Josh likely takes it to the house and is the hero of that playoff game.
  15. I just watched the Knox TD and Diggs had a great cut block to help him score that TD. It's an incredibly unselfish play and gives you a sense of how much of a team player this guy is.
  16. Allen's game tonight was sublime. Even after taking that nasty sack in the 3rd quarter he led them on a TD drive. It was nice to see Knox starting to get involved in the passing game. I've got a feeling he is about to have a big game. Singleterry played very well and had a couple of nice catches. Beasley was a beast out there and Diggs quietly had a great night. The D bent but didn't break much when it mattered. Also got 2 more TOs that were big. I think we beat Pittsburgh by 2 scores Sunday night.
  17. So Washington's Alex Smith makes a mistake and takes the ball off the field and the Steelers are penalized by the refs who stop the clock because they didn't have a ball to spot? Are you paying attention coach Belicheat this is a great way to get your FG off when you have no TO's left. I'm getting sick and tired of the crappy officiating in the NFL. It's incompetence meets arbitrary enforcement. This a real problem the league ad better address. No need for a new rule just common sense by the morons in stripes. If the team with the ball does what Smith does the clock runs as the refs wait for a ball. Pretty simple IMO.
  18. I don't think Hill knew he caught it. If he did he would have told them to challenge.
  19. Justin Herbert meet Bill Belicheck. 56 attempts for under 250 yards, no TD's and 2 INT's. Cam Newton was 12/19 for 69 yards. Pats scored TD's on a punt return and blocked FG attempt.
  20. And don't count the Ravens out they could go on a role. Based on this performance Chris. WTH. Wait, Collingsworth just said something nice about the Bills, All is forgiven.
  21. NFL officiating sucks. That should have been a 15 yard penalty based on the TWO 15 yard penalties called on Buffalo for less egregious actions.
