Some have less self control with other aspects of life. Might have something to do with playing a violent sport all your life? More often than not in the NFL, one of the most reported things about a player acting wrongly is some form of assault/violence. My bad. Knew there was a 3rd rounder involved. Given how Matthews turned out and the fact we didn’t keep Harrison Phillips when he came into his own, don’t know if it was good but rather an even trade. Darby played well there and we got Phillips. Almost a wash.

Dude. I watched that Ravens/9ers game and kept asking myself who TF #28 was. Good for him. He played well in Philly but had multiple years where injuries took ahold of his career. Nice to see him playing good football. Wasn’t a bad pick here either just the by-product for securing a trade. Still wild that we gave up him and a 3rd rounder for Jordon Matthews. 🤯

Tyrod starting makes sense. Definitely looked better as a team with him under center than DeVito. The Howell move is perplexing though. I know they haven’t been winning but aside from his horrible day against Buffalo he’s shown periods of good football. Yeah, him and Stanford definitely were the reasoning for what we have now in the wage scale system. Back to back years… 72m for Staff then like 80m for Bradford. Following year they added that system for draft picks. Can’t blame them.
