  1. gosh. im not in love with dorsey, but mcdermott? get out of here. i do think he needs an offensive guy who is good enough to have almost total autonomy.
  2. well, he's the head coach. so yes it is his fault. if he wasn't a part of the discussion, he gave frazier too much autonomy.
  3. ive said for a few years that i wont be able to go back to how the last 20 years were before Josh. If it looks like that again, i will most likely stop watching.
  4. This is not updated. He is at 119. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/leaders/pass_yds_career.htm
  5. Never loved Daboll as a coordinator, but Josh's lack of discipline since he left, made me think twice about that. We'll see how that looks the rest of this season. If Josh can be disciplined without him, there isn't much use for him, short of dorsey getting a hc spot. What the Bills have done the last few weeks feels similar to 2020 and 2021 buffalo. Maybe Dorsey is catching his stride. In my eyes, Daboll could be great when he was rolling, but what I thought he lacked was the ability to turn things around when the opposing defense had their number. I just didn't see the adjustments. I don't know if Dorsey will be an adjustments guy either. time will tell. Or maybe im way off on that. It's just the feeling i had during the best of times for us.
  6. This week, Allen jumped Daryle Lamonica, Chris Miller, and Brian Griese to land in the 119th spot with 19,445 yards. Next week, he should jump Sam Bradford and Charlie Conerly into the 117 spot with just 44 yards. With a healthy season, Allen stands to jump into the top 100 by the end of the season, if he can throw for 2685 yards in 13 games. Currently occupying spot #100, the great Carson Wentz.
  7. they must have had an idea of what they had with him because they didn't sniff around too much on the free agent front. interesting they played up edmunds value so much last year, when they might have known they had this ace up their sleeve. well played. or maybe we just got lucky?
  8. always great to have a jim leonhard type out on the field. helping 5 others guys can definitely make up for some physical limitations one might have.
  9. the contract goes through 29, so the last three years i guess will average around 60. will probably seem normal or low by the time they get there!
  10. yup. there are 3 to 5 guys, like Allen and Mahomes who deserve every penny, if not more. The rest of these guys like Jones barely deserve half of what they get. The nba is even worse for guys making undeserved money. seems like every other team has a max player guy or TWO who makes just about as much as a GIannis, KD, or prime Lebron.
  11. Good for him. he must be a good locker room guy/ coach in uniform.
  12. no reason to get sensitive about it, but allen is better than aaron rodgers RIGHT NOW
  13. you know he's a very loud talker, right?
  14. Well, Lamar has already been told no and the Bengals are cash poor, so likely not happening for Burrow either. Market getting set back to normal. It happens all the time. A-Rod signed for 250 million in 2000. It wasn't until 2019 that A-Rod was topped!
  15. yup. i remember thinking romo was overstating the issues caused by the elbow. now it kind of seems like maybe Romo actually had a lot more information than the rest of us
  16. well, i root for any team that is not the buffalo bills to make bad decisions. show that man the money!
  17. i just can't see there being a huge market for him if the giants let him go. over 40, really?
  18. i agree. he is a freak athlete, and those guys are just built differently. I'd prefer to not see him until close to christmas. we just need 4 great games from him. that's it.
  19. top 4 is allen mahomes burrow hurts (no particular order there). no questions asked
  20. mcdermott is fine, but we need a steady leader on offense. if we can't have that without having an offensive minded hC, he might need to go. we need a tom moore, but tom moore does not grow on trees. even if dorsey was great, he would be gone in a year or two. can we really afford to go through that every 2 to 3 years?
  21. as others have said, best coaches this year are sirianni, shanahan, and reid. kind of a weird award given with fuzzy logic.
  22. Good for him on a job well done, but there are at least 4 coaches who did a better job than him this year. a silly, somewhat arbitrary award.
  23. Here's what I know about Josh Allen. He is coachable. Giving information does not mean you are TEACHING it well.
  24. so many people don't seem to understand a coach's job is not just calling plays, but TEACHING players to execute plays.
  25. even if it is mcdermott's d, he needs a new person to put his mind together with. I believe it is ultimately mcdermott's fault, but he is a good leader of men, so he stays and continues to lead. He needs to do a better job of filling the gaps on Xs and Os
