  1. At this rate Mahomes will be tweeting through Chiefs games from his sofa with the rest of his family next year
  2. If I wasn't watching NFL for years I would really wonder how could Jets beat Titans just 3 weeks ago.
  3. I see that Chiefs defense picked up exactly where Bills defense left off...
  4. Hard to say what the ruling will be but that should be a catch imo.
  5. Hmm thanks for answer but I am not sure if I understand the second part. For the sake of simplicity, lets say he just takes 5M of new money. What is his 2022 cap hit then? 5M or 6,4M? Is there a way for him to get 5M of new money and for the Bills the cap to be 5M? Or in other way - lets say we want to keep him but we don't want his cap to be more than 5M total. How such contract can look like? How much money he might actually get?
  6. Anybody has a clue how void years work? I mean Sanders has 2022 as a void year with dead cap of 1,375,000. The way I understand it is that he is actually an UFA and can sign anywhere he wants, but Bills are left with dead cap since they wanted to lower cap hit in 2021. But what happens if he actually resigns with Bills? Let's say 1 year contract for 5M with no signing bonus. Will his cap hit be only those 5M with no dead cap? I.e. will that new contract cause dead cap to disappear?
  7. I agree with OP to a certain point. That drive was important and we blew it. It looks like it was a combination of Josh's decisions and playcalling. But I think when people (in general) blame Josh for trying to go deep and missing easy checkdowns it is not completely fair. I'd say that there is a decent chance that almost everytime when Josh (or any QB) hits something deep he also has the opportunity to checkdown. But we never criticize that when deep ball is connected - actually we never notice or care. We are just happy with a play. How many missed checkdowns went unnoticed when Josh connected something deeper? My point it that missing open guys for couple of yards is inevitable when you try for anything else, so its not necessarily a bad thing. It just looks like a bad thing when longer play fails. EDIT: No sure what you mean Coach... we blew IT? Not sure why I wrote it that way. Not a native speaker though (if you mean anything else).
  8. It doesn't have to mean he leaves it to chance. He might think that injuries will somehow sort it out (which is fairly likely), and if not, he might have a backup plan - like cutting least performing DT for example. But you're obviously right that he just doesn't activate Stevenson without some plan in mind.
  9. So if this is true, put him on IR and activate Stevenson?
  10. If overthecap has it right it is slightly over 10M. https://overthecap.com/fifth-year-option-projections/
  11. Oh and lol at everyone who says we should have kicked FG or call anything else. Going for it was right call and if they call anything else than QB sneak and it fails same people would be saying why not sneak it. OL wasn't good enough and that's why we lost. Oh and defense not able to stop AJ Brown. Just like AZ game, this might be a good thing in the long run.
  12. This is fine with me. We are not blowing out teams in the playoffs. If we want to win it all, we need to win games like this. Its time for Josh and offense show that they can pull it off.
