  1. This is what I am talking about. This years boards will be (much) more different from scout to scout and team to team than before. I see many people saying that no chance that player X will be on board at 30, but I am pretty sure we will have lot of unexpected choices. Some guys like Toney, JOK, Rousseau, Phillips, Horn and so on will be available.
  2. I don't think this is correct. Using drafttek value chart 30 and 93 can get us to 23 maybe. You would need 30 and 61 to get to 18. The other one is total nonsense. Pick 161 gets you from 61 to 58 based on the chart. Again, maybe throwing that pick 93 in might get you from 61 to 45. I know it is only chart but it is pretty accurate in my experience. No way in hell gets you mid 5th round pick up 16 spots in round 2. Otherwise I agree that in general we should probably draft less players than 7 and move up a little bit here and there. To me most important is to draft 3 guys in top 90. Maybe move down from 30 then use ammo to move up in round 2 or 3. But it all depends on what happens on draft day.
  3. Not anymore. We've become farm of Las Vegas Raiders.
  4. Looks good to me. These kind of stats would be more valuable if they came with number of snaps. That's not a knock on you, just my general comment. He might not be a starter, but still could've played anything between 20% and 70% of snaps, which makes big difference.
  5. I think math is little better than you present it. There was a talk about Sanders' void year which I don't see on Sportrac. Also, if McKenzies hit is §1.15mill, then it affects cap space for less than 0.5mill. Same goes for other two guys you mention. I might be wrong but this seems too much money for just vet mins. I am not expecting anything big though. We'll see.
  6. Interesting. That is much more than we need just to fill roster with players on vet mins isn't it? So somebody with 5-7mill. cap hit coming soon? I think Beane was more than clear that he will do this only if totally necessary.
  7. Why do you think this? Even if we count 2017 draft I don't think sample size is big enough to judge what kind of players are they willing to draft high. Last year Diggs was sort of 1st round player. Why do you think speedy WR isn't?
  8. I don't get this kind of drafting. Whats the point for the Bills to draft less talent in top 100 and 5 players in rounds 5 and later who have really small chance to make a team? Whats the point in trying to accumulate picks next year? To trade them for later picks again? We have very solid roster overall right now, we want to compete next year, so we should draft 3 best guys we can in first 3 rounds and not trade down for future picks.
  9. What is your opinion on Oweh to Bills? Too soon at 30 in general or not a scheme fit for us? Is he more of a 3-4 OLB?
  10. I think at least 2, but more likely 3-4 players from your list will be available at 30. I think people are underestimating how different boards will teams have this year, esp. when it comes to players who opted out.
  11. I really think its time for TBD mock draft, @Virgil
  12. Why is almost eveyone so heavily underestimating drafting OL? OL is single most important unit on the field except QB imo, we didn't draft one last year and this draft has about 20 very good prospects from what I've read. I'll be really surprised if we don't deaft one in first three rounds this year.
  13. Just for 3,25M? People will not be happy here...
  14. I am arguing with another guy what this means. Ravens offered 9mill plus 4 more possible in incentives, or 9 total, i.e. 5+4?
  15. Thanks. I google and find the same here: https://www.nfl.com/news/2021-nfl-free-agency-glossary-all-the-terms-you-need-to-know, but I don't see when is the deadline for other teams to make offer. Do you know?
  16. I am not sure about this - is it over and he is Bills player for 2,1M this year? Or can some other team steal him from us if we get som draft pick?
  17. OP you are right. I hate it too. They have no clue what they are doing. Too much emphasis on ST. Too much rotation on Dline. Insisting on some OLB to be MLB. Drafting suspect players instead of DK Metcalfs. Keeping overpaid LBs who can't cover TEs. Pasivity in free agency. No run game. Everything sucks. We are never gonna be playoff team under this management!
  18. Sry if this is stupid question. Even if this was about Mack, why would Pegula's jet fly there? I guess you don't need to fly there to get deal done.
  19. Agreed, but I still think he will do so if there is a good reason. Like Mack or something
  20. Thanks for the thread OP. I think you are missing some blocking TE in substractions. Also, purist in me would change "Star" to "Lotulelei" so its consistent with other names
  21. I never expected them to be a weak team. We just need to be better.
  22. I might be wrong, but I think you are misreading this. We need §6M for those contracts, but it does not take §6M from cap space. We already have 51 contracts, rookie contracts only replace some of them. For example, signing of 5th round pick takes nothing from cap space, since his cap hit is less than cap hit of 51th contract currently counted towards cap space. Rookies actually cost us about §1,6M together (mainly due to 1st round pick, who has cap hit of 2M, which is 1,2M more than contract it replaces).
