  1. In all seriousness, he is the kind of guy I could see running for president one day.
  2. I'd like to thank Nate for what has become my 2 year old's favorite counting song: 12 interceptions that John Murphy had to call, There were 12 interceptions that John Murphy had to call, And if only Peterman had been more careful with the ball There'd be 11 interceptions that John Murphy had to call...
  3. I'm not religious myself but I do agree people are allowed to say whatever they want about Christianity, whereas if similar things were said about so-called minority religions they would lose their job in a second. In this respect I sort of feel sorry for Christians who just go about their business and show up to church every Sunday but have to sit tight while people ridicule them
  4. No offense to any people of faith reading this, but it sort of creeps me out when these high profile sportsmen always talk about God and Jesus so much. Like when the Rams won the Super Bowl and the first thing Warner said when he received the trophy was "thank you, Jesus!" There's something odd to me about the belief that the Almighty chose you to win and the other guys to lose. What the hell did they do to tick Jesus off so much? I'll get flamed for this but I always wince now when Jim Kelly keeps talking about Jesus. I understand he's been through some terrible times with his son and his illness and religion is great for helping people through those kinds of things, but when people suddenly 'find' God they can't help but tell you about it every five minutes. It's like when people find veganism and then insist on telling everyone they meet "by the way, I'm vegan".
  5. I don't actually know what Teller looks like without his helmet on, but his long hair and all, I'm sort of hoping he resembled Mitch Frerrote (including the spectacular tache)
  6. Okay, here's a list of things that posters on this board believe McDermott should have been fired for so far this season: (possibly) not starting Barkley against Jax Not starting Teller in game 1 (because he definitely would have been great without having 9 weeks to learn and develop) Cutting O' Leary Not having Peterman murdered by a professional hitman Clapping too much Ah, a full list would take too long, but that's a start
  7. Just looking at some of the offensive stats. It actually looks like a real team today: Barkley 15/23 235 yards 2 TD McCoy 22 rushes 106 yards 2 TDs Foster 3 rec 105 yards Jones 8 rec 93 yards 1 TD
  8. Watched him closely today, he's opened up a lot of holes on that left side. Has consistently driven players back
  9. Is Teller starting the difference?
  10. I like the going for broke but sort of wish they'd had the same attitude when we were, you know, in with a realistic shot at the playoffs
  11. I haven't been this surprised since my wife showed me her balls on our wedding night
  12. Actually I don't think we're giving them enough credit. Consider this day and age where, like Brady said, it's just a glorified version of college ball. These teams are scoring at will. It's the most normal thing to see two offenses marching up and down the field at will. And yet in the middle of all that the Bills have managed to make an offense that, through 9 games, is one of the worst in HISTORY. Think back to the days when passing was seen as a gimmick. I'm not sure of the stats but I read today that this is the worst opening 9 games in Bills history. I mean that's going back to the 60s. That's just incredible. They really couldn't be worse if they'd tried to engineer it that way. I think we should take out hats off to them for an amazing accomplishment.
  13. Play Allen, Teller, as many young offensive players as possible. Activate the guys on the PS. The only interest I have now is seeing how these guys develop.
  14. I hope they had the good taste to wipe their ass on the gameplan
  15. Just the gig a guy with a heart condition needs
  16. Once he gets cleared he'll hit himself over the head with a brick to get back in it
  17. The only way they can do it in one off season is to somehow attract top tier FA talent here and then make some REALLY great draft picks, like they've done with the defensive side of the ball. Plus they need to trade down in the first to secure more picks, if anyone is willing to partner with them of course. Let's see: FA WR 1st round WR 2 FA linemen 2nd round lineman (if they find a trade partner) 2nd round WR 3rd round TE 4th round RB I have no idea which players are FAs this season or how deep the draft is at different positions, but if they draft well and spend some money they could vastly improve this thing. The key for me is linemen. Getting a running game going and giving Allen more time to throw deep/gain confidence would be a huge upgrade. It would also help the defense massively as they'd be getting more than 10 seconds rest between drives. Of course the problem with that many rookies is giving them time to develop. I'd be looking for a really strong second half of next year. If that happens and they draft well the following season they could make a push for at least the divisional round the next season. Usually I'd complain that the defense would regress in that time, but I like the way they've built the D and trust them to continue adding talent in lower rounds of the draft and with cheaper FAs that other people miss.
  18. Wait a second... there's a plan??? Was it formulated by Laurel and Hardy?
  19. Say hello to our new WR. He's way better at going up for the ball than KB
  20. To be fair to Murphy, I have heard him criticize Peterman a lot this year, including numerous times saying he shouldn't play again.
  21. When I'm angry I watch an 80s movie like Commando or Robocop. The mindless violence helps me remember the good times. Then sometimes I listen to Van Miller calling the Bills-Raiders championship game. And if that doesn't work I call in sick and spend the day jerking off to the scene in Coming to America where Jamie Lee Curtis gets her cannons out.
  22. I think to take a positive would be clutching at straws, like "well at least no one contracted AIDS"
  23. Zay Jones: "Hey, Kelvin, stop licking your lips while you look at my balls"
  24. Hahaha, Nate only ran so he wouldn't have a shot at another INT. Smart guy
  25. Hail Mary, good shot at another INT
