If Joe Namath and Johnny Unitas are the most QB sounding names ever then Logan Woodside has to be the least. It sounds more like an exclusive kids camp -

I think the plan is to wait until our championship game rematch against KC and just rush 11 guys at Zed Mahomes until he breaks his head again -

We're like the old couple at the beginning of UP, breaking that savings jar open every year thinking there will be plenty of years to come, not realizing time is always running out. I wish I had a more macho film analogy than that but I really don't...

I still have PPAWS (Post Pats A*s Whooping Syndrome) so I'll reserve judgment until I see him fail two years in a row.

Is the AFC East the toughest for a new HC?
RobbRiddick replied to PatsFanNH's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's an interesting point. Right now if you were to ask people around the league I think they'd give more credit to Daboll because it's the offense that scares people and because of the work he's done with Allen. McD, because he's a defensive coach, is obviously associated with that side of the ball, and the defense hasn't been dominant for a while. Though he and Frazier have come up with some excellent game plans from time to time, particularly against Lamar. The way they completely shut him down in the playoffs was incredible. Of course McD's thing is the leadership and culture he brings to the table. You can't say too much about the way he's transformed the mindset of that team and the perception of it around the league -

Is the AFC East the toughest for a new HC?

It's a great division for coaches. Salah obviously has to prove it but Flores I have a lot of respect for and the Phone Buster is obviously arguably the greatest. Then McD is so good other teams are trying to find his clone. Salah I feel was picked because they see him as a McD type guy (defensive coach, claps a lot, follicly challenged) -
Bills trading Daryll Johnson to the Panthers for 6th rd pick

It's nice of Beane to give something back to the Panthers. In the Carolina/Buffalo relationship this is the equivalent of him offering them a reach around -
Will Gabe Davis ever challenge the #1 WR spot?
RobbRiddick replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He'll be our Alvin Harper - a very good number 2 who ends up getting paid a huge contract to be a team's number 1 and subsequently disappoints -
Good Night / Bad Night - Pre-season game 3
RobbRiddick replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Brieda does make it I can see some situations where Allen escapes the pocket, finds him on a dump off and he takes it 30 or 40 yards downfield on the broken play. If he does that a few times in key moments then he's earned his roster spot for me -
