Always makes me angry when I see joe blow QB throw for 300 yards. As Mason Rudolph will likely get tonight. Why is Buffalo seemingly incapable of having a passing attack no matter what they do? Wouldn’t you eventually back into a 300 yard game every once, twice, or fifty games.

I cannot see any scenario, whatsoever, where Houston even entertains the idea of trading Hopkins. Especially with Fuller out. Far, far more likely Atlanta trades Julio. Houston gave up two firsts for a LT to make a push this year with Watson. So they are now going to trade their second best player for draft picks, and help the Dolphins in the process? Just so unlikely.

How long is Drew Lock out? Wonder if Chad Kelly is available ?. Elway is pretty much the last GM I would ever want handling a QB situation.

Lee Smith is absolutely useless. Multiple penalties every game. He does nothing.

That was possibly the biggest joke of a roughing the passer call I have ever seen.

I don’t know why anyone would do this. I suppose the $20,000 prize, but that is waaaayyyy too low for what this is. The founder of this “haunted house” is likely a sociopath, and is a brilliant one. Instead of killing/ torturing out in the real world and risking jail time, he/she gets to torture people for free.

Depends on the time left on the clock. Outside of 1 minute all they could do is official times it and reset play clock to 25 instead of 40. Within one minute they get some more options. Within one minute to play the NFL rule book states that a foul by either team that prevents the snap can be penalized by 5 yards for delay of game and the offended team would get the option to start the clock on the snap, rather than the ready.

Which is why I tend to agree with the article that said Belichick wanted it to be exposed. No reason he uses that maneuver when he’s up by 33 points if he wanted anything but to bring attention to it.

It’s actually not a wide open loophole. Officials have discretion to stop the clock if it’s obvious a team is killing time like that. If it continued or happens again I’m sure they will simply not allow the clock to run.
