  1. Is anyone else pretty shocked this guy was claimed? I thought there was zero chance he wasn’t available for the practice squad after he cleared waivers.
  2. At this point, especially if they want to keep Lee, they should cut Kroft with an injury settlement. Wasting that roster spot is not smart.
  3. Reminds me of the Johnny Bobbit story. Where he gave his last $20 to some couple that ran out of gas. Raised around $400,000 from the GofundMe. Whole scheme unraveled when the couple didn’t give Johnny his half and he sues them for it. Turns out the three of them set it all up together.
  4. Well, if the price is right, Emmanuel Sanders, COME ON DOWN!!!!
  5. I honestly wanted Chase to get a long look over Hauschka this preseason. As the Patriots did this year at the punter position, we should always be looking to get similar performance from cheaper players.
  6. The timing of this seems awful suspect....
  7. Absolutely. Him or AJ Green are some good trade targets. Either one would help tremendously.
  8. Didn’t know we had an NFL coach on this board. Are you allowed to declare which team you are an insider for? I am sure we would all love to know.
  9. You know he’s good when I saw a difficult catch being made Sunday and I immediate told my wife “that has to be Dawson Knox”. Because no one else on the team is capable of going up and making a contested catch. He absolutely needs to be featured more. As others have said, no reason Lee Smith should see the field. I’d have Tommy Sweeney far ahead of him too. There isn’t a place in the modern game for a TE who has absolutely no receiving ability.
  10. Eh, this is probably the correct answer. I just can’t find any other explanation of why he’s so inexplicably bad at challenges. I’m sure his coaches in the booth have the same views we do. If we know it shouldn’t be challenged, how do they not know.
  11. Duke will get a chance somewhere to prove he belongs against NFL talent. I just hope it’s the Bills giving him that chance. Seems to have learned from his past mistakes and is putting the team first. Not to mention he catches pretty good too.
  12. Oftentimes I see people complain of coaches making stupid challenges that will obviously not be overturned. Is it really a stupid challenge? Or is the coach doing something else? On these challenges that obviously have no chance of being overturned, what if it is being challenged to get an extremely long time out? A time out in the NFL is 30 seconds. Whereas you can spend that same time out by challenging and buy your defense or offense a 5 minute break. If you know you are going to be using a time out anyways, and it is your first challenge, is it really that bad of a move to “buy” an extra few minutes? Or is it actually a pretty shrewd coaching move.
  13. No, he would be done in Carolina for a reason. Guy is a shell of his former self.
  14. I thought this was was an exceptionally poor game for the officials. Felt sloppy throughout with plenty of missed calls that effected the outcome of the game.
  15. Your reasons for wanting him are the precise reasons the Bengals will keep him. Unless they can get a haul for him that included a first. With the upcoming WR draft class I’m not very interested in shipping out our 2020 1st for Boyd.
  16. Precisely. I know a win is a win. But Pitt is handling this team the way a good team should.
  17. Steelers looking legit. This will be a tough one later in the year.
  18. Ah, Monday night. Good old Booger McFarland announcing.
  19. Provided the Bengals would accept a 3rd for him, this is absolutely the perfect time to trade for AJ. He is hurt, no problem, he would take at least two weeks to get the playbook down anyways. Let him learn it while injured, come back with a full week of practice and roll into the game 100% up to speed.
  20. That I agree with. I did not see any contact at all. I think that’s the only reason it wasn’t called.
  21. So, based on the replay, you believe that receivers intention was anything BUT to trip/hinder Wallace? I disagree completely. His entire point of that route is to get in Wallace’s way. Probably why his foot steps out while he’s staring right at Wallace. Unless you believe it’s just coincidence that his route had him plant his foot right where he did at the exact moment Wallace was coming by to where Wallace just so happened to have to avoid the contact.
