I doubt he even steps up then. Guy is utterly useless filler. Hopefully they can find an improvement in the offseason. Shouldn't be too difficult. At least he’s staying healthy this season? That is a feather in his cap I suppose. When the starter is pretty useless and invisible, such as in this situation, it might not be so inaccurate.

Easiest schedule of any team I ever remember. Could hurt come playoff time if they draw a tough round one matchup. But honestly zero excuse not to make the playoffs this year. Even an average team talent wise should be able to squeak in this year.

Not sure if this is sarcasm trying to knock Metcalf? But as a rookie he is on pace for over 800 yards and 8 TD’s. I would call that an extremely successful rookie campaign.

Why is everyone so sure he won’t make it down the waiver wire? I would actually be surprised if ANY team claimed him. Has shown inability to stay on the field, wasn’t super productive in New England playing with the best QB in history and obviously did something to piss of the Pats. If Belichick thought he was rehabilitated and could play he would have waited the extra week and not IR’ed/released him. There’s a reason he isn’t a Patriot anymore and it isn’t because he’s healthy, productive, and stayed out of trouble.

Well, is this really an ultimatum? He’s going to be a free agent without a long term deal. Thus, he would be free to leave. I just don’t really understand his threat here.

Beane, McDermott, Frazier, the defense. Wanted to put Josh Allen but he’s just not convincing enough yet. Hopefully he develops into that. Daboll, I’m not a fan and he hasn’t done anything to convince me up to this point.

Such a far cry from NHL trade deadline day. It’s funny because NFL has a super exciting free agency and the NHL is the complete opposite.

Not a bad take. Even if you get a receiver in here, with there be immediate chemistry? Likely not. Top of my list would be Von Miller or a run stuffing DT (not even sure any of these are available). This defense has had a big problem getting pressure on QB’s and getting gashed by runs. It is also looking like the defense will have to carry this Bills team on their backs. Improve the side of the ball you have an actual chance of improving.

For anything but a first, I am all for it. Foster+3rd would be my ideal point. Would go up to a 2nd though as long as Green is healthy again.

Absolutely. Wanted this guy in free agency. Provided Daboll will actually use him, Bell is a mismatch nightmare in the run and passing game. You can line him up wide and actually use him as a wide out, or use him as a RB with game breaking speed. Sign me up.

Never been a fan and he certainly hasn’t convinced me yet. I cringe at every designed QB run. Would love to see the yardage breakdown of Allen’s YPA when running a designed run vs running from a broken pocket.

Always makes me angry when I see joe blow QB throw for 300 yards. As Mason Rudolph will likely get tonight. Why is Buffalo seemingly incapable of having a passing attack no matter what they do? Wouldn’t you eventually back into a 300 yard game every once, twice, or fifty games.

I cannot see any scenario, whatsoever, where Houston even entertains the idea of trading Hopkins. Especially with Fuller out. Far, far more likely Atlanta trades Julio. Houston gave up two firsts for a LT to make a push this year with Watson. So they are now going to trade their second best player for draft picks, and help the Dolphins in the process? Just so unlikely.
