  1. Another benefit of a Jets victory. If Simeon lights it up these next few games we would get to see the calls for Darnolds head if he goes out there and doesn’t do the same.
  2. Another game like last week. I have a rough time seeing a L in this one. Dalton would have to be perfect against a strong secondary. If the Bills can get a pass rush going (they should be able to) then it’s going to be a long day for the Bengals offense. I’m confident in the Bills offense being able to put up the points required to win. I see another 14-17 point defensive effort. 31-17 Bills
  3. Belichick would make Stidham look like a pro. Remember how Matt Cassel looked under Belichick? I would rather Antonio Brown’s career be ended. Brady’s will sooner rather than later.
  4. Jets. They aren’t doing anything this year. I want to see the Browns implode after an 0-2 start. Hoping Baker lays another egg like week one. I think it’s highly likely the Jets will be bad the rest of this year. They might win a few games, but they will be at the bottom of the “In the hunt” graphic. If they are in the picture at all.
  5. Watson was Whaley’s guy, if he stayed and made the pick. Whaley was “in love” with Watson. This is why I think Whaley was simply not allowed to pick a QB in that draft. They obviously knew he was being fired and wanted that decision in the hands of the new front office. Mahomes was never, ever the guy. If you want to play that game then you would need to have replaced the entire front office a year earlier. The real comparison, therefore, is Allen vs Watson. Watson is definitely ahead now. But he is no where near out of reach. I have a suspicion Allen in year 3 could be just as good as Watson in year 3.
  6. Was going to post exactly this. Baker should be in the same tier as Jackson and Allen. I would also argue that Rivers is close to dropping a tier as well. Really I would leave Watson in tier two alone and bust Rivers and Baker down a tier. I wouldn’t take Rivers over many in that tier right now.
  7. 1A.Baker - Based on last season. He’s simply proven the most. If he regresses he’s going to fall well below Jackson and Allen though. 1B.Jackson - If he continues his play through the first two games he’s clear cut number 1. Those were against two awful defenses though, so we shall see. 2. Allen - Solid after his injury last season. Good start to this season even after the turnovers. 4 4th quarter comebacks in his limited NFL action. Guy is a baller. 3. Darnold - Has the tools. Has battled injury and hasn’t consistently put it together. Respectable rookie numbers. No improvement so far in limited year 2 action. Couldn’t put away the Bills even when gifted 4 turnovers. 4. Rudolph? - Decent first real NFL action. This season will be telling. I agree with those who say he will be an average NFL starter. 5. Rosen - He wasn’t impressive last year and has been downright terrible this year. He has played on two bad teams but he hasn’t shown me anything. Not to mention the entitled attitude. Just does not flash as a leader of men. Will be given a short prove it deal after his entry contract expires. Out of the league after that.
  8. I wanted 1.Allen 2.Darnold 3. Baker 4. Jackson 5. Rudolph 6.Rosen (always hated him)
  9. These scenarios is why the NFL needs to develop a better “Flex game” idea. Prime time games need to be the best matchups of the week, or at least close. Some of the prime time games this year and shaping up to be hot garbage. Who wants to lose type of games.
  10. They did just get beat 41-17 by the 49er’s who are not exactly an offensive powerhouse. I would take the Bills WR’s and RB’s (with Singletary) over the 49’ers group. I would take the Bills defense at LB and secondary over the 49ers. QB is a toss up. I am biased so I would take Allen. But at worst, they are even.
  11. I would be shocked if he didn’t retire. He wasn’t the same player in the 1 1/2 games he played this year anyways.
  12. Yeah, I am super impressed with how Ross has stepped it up so far this year. They have two legit WR options even without Green in Boyd and Ross.
  13. We could very likely lose Brees, Ben and Brady in the same year. Outside chance Rivers calls it quits as well. I also echo everyone’s sentiments. Why can’t Brady be the one getting injured.
  14. I still can’t believe this. Tom Brady seems like a wholesome family guy. He opens his house to a multi-millionaire douche bag. The guy has MILLIONS, it isn’t like he is scraping by until his next pay check. Tell him to Air B N B until he pays cash for his mansion.
  15. I don’t believe he is close yet. Was still in a walking boot a few days ago.
  16. The world against them, it’s the Patriot way. Anyone notice Robert Kraft was in Miami yesterday? Wonder where his new place is for a handy
  17. I’m just hoping the Bills can lay a season ending injury on him in week 4. That would make my day. Only thing better would be a Bills victory.
  18. So many primetime teams this year that look awful. Jets have 3 primetime games, Dolphins, Giants. These are just awful teams that will be showcased and likely blown out.
  19. I thought the opposite. Maybe it was the Rams defense, but Teddy mustered, what, 3 points in 2-3 quarters of football? Sean Payton is always drooling over Taysom Hill. Lets see what he’s got.
  20. Until he has to play ?. Saints are completely average with Bridgewater at the helm.
  21. This is actually one of my biggest complaint of the McDermott era. Someone who knows football more than me can probably tell me it’s execution and not on the head coach, etc. But it feels that whenever they have a big lead and on the verge of a blowout, they let their foot off the gas. It felt like that today and it’s felt like that in the past. The Vikings game last year comes to immediate memory.
  22. Problem is, how long until he is 100% cohesive with the line and play calls?
  23. I know your being facetious here, but you know the odds of a victory are slim. It isn’t being down on the Bills, I don’t see a team in the NFL I would take straight up against the Pats. Trust me, I hate it too. Therefore, I don’t think Singletary would be the difference. We could have Saquon and I wouldn’t rush him back for that game.
