Problem is, Antonio Brown has made a mockery of the NFL. Usually I would say “wait for the case to play out”. In this case, suspend him indefinitely pending the outcome of litigation and go from there.
I think the “small” DT myth was absolved once Aaron Donald started absolutely dominating. Donald is 6’1 280, Oliver is 6’1 287. So anyone using Oliver’s size as a downfall hasn’t looked at recent history.
Kyler Murray was bad, super bad during that first half. He had multiple batted balls as well, which was a fear of many due to his size. His second game will tell us more, but I’m still not expecting much of him.
If the one leak we have ever seen is to be believed, they had Baker 3rd behind Allen and Darnold. Extremely plausible they would have taken Allen over Baker if they had the chance.
Then it should have been an incompletion. Beasley is the entire reason that throw ends up an INT. He had a beautiful scoop to pop it right up in the air. These things are not mutually exclusive. It was a bad throw and Beasley causes the INT. Both of these can be true. In this case they are.
I don’t mind Bell for his hold out. He went about it respectfully unlike his teammate. Bell just sat out, didn’t hammer Instagram or hire a social media consultant team to help force his release. Then he signed as a free agent. He also plays a position in the NFL where you likely get one big contract before “expiring” from your prime. Unlike WR’s who are given huge money deals. Yes I just turned this into a Bell Vs AB thing, but one went about it the right way IMO (Bell).
As long as keeps having 14+ catches for under 100 yards I’ll take it all day.
