  1. My total cost for DIRECTV is $42/month with the Sunday Ticket max package. Too good for me to pass up so far.
  2. I like this take. The Bills haha the cap to do it. Adding a solid player like Gordon wouldn’t hurt. I’m also with you on value. I’d do it for a 3rd, but no more. I’m laughing if they request a 1st or 2nd. Sources close to the tailback tell us he died after experiencing “full cardiac arrest” during a physical therapy session. For some reason google linked CJ Fuller as CJ Spiller.
  3. The fact that the GTD isn’t exactly listed makes me think Zeke’s agent isn’t too proud of that figure. How can these people say things like this after he just held out? Zeke did not sign away the rest of his time as a premier back at all. If he gets towards the middle-end of this contract and is outperforming he will simply hold out again.
  4. Then they will probably have to cave and pay him. Interesting dynamic. I always thought out of him and Zeke that Gordon had the better chance of missing games.
  5. If your going to waste a 2nd on a RB might as well use it to draft your own and not pay him a disgusting salary.
  6. ? do you know if it’s a Nexstar station? I thought they settled all their disputes with DIRECTV.
  7. If he is willing to take less than the Chargers are offering him, sure. In other words, no.
  8. Free agent market in 2020 is pretty bare, and likely to become even more barren with re-signings. Depth signings on the OL is always good. Depth CB’s are always good to have too
  9. The thing I don’t get, is if reporters see this, is Zeke’s agent not seeing this? Rhetorical question because he obviously is, but my point is, why would Zeke end his holdout for nothing? If these reports are true it’ll be clear that Zeke was the one who broke and not Jerry Jones.
  10. Exactly what I wonder with a lot of these jobs. Police office, EMT, correctional officer. All of those jobs work hours and days that are all over the place. I understand the lawyers or business owners being able to just step away.
  11. Summed up my thoughts before I could post them myself!
  12. Second vote for home. No other place I prefer to watch a game. Nothing like having my own climate control, bathroom, recliner, drinks and food.
  13. WR Keelan Doss, Oakland. Absolutely shocked they waived him. He was catching everything in the pre-season. Looked really, really good.
  14. I highly doubt there is much of a market for an oft injured running back seeking an ultra high value contract.
  15. Beane is really good at trading. Able to get a few picks for Teller who was probably going to be cut and Bodine who was hot garbage.
  16. I was rooting for Peterman the entire preseason. Watched everyone of his games. Guy looks just like preseason Peterman has in the past, really good. We will see if Gruden can turn him into even a below average NFL back up. Gruden sees something in Peterman. One of my favorite quotes from hard knocks is “lets put Peterman in, I think he’s a better player than you guys” as he’s talking to his coaches in the head set.
  17. I would have liked to see more of this guy. Maybe they can use a PS spot on a kicker this year. Not too excited about the timing of Hauschka’s extension. He has not been anywhere close to the same kicker since getting leveled last season. Why not wait out a few games to see if he regains his consistency? No reason to rush into extending him, guy is a kicker, he wasn’t going anywhere.
  18. Just in case anyone hasn’t noticed, the blackout is over. All your local Nexstar stations are back on DirecTV.
  19. I actually feel it will be Directv who pulls the plug on the TV deal before the NFL does. That’s a massive sum that Directv pays out and they are hemorrhaging subscribers.
  20. Side note, but you would think by now a center would have came along who can long snap and regular snap. Would be nice if teams did not have to use a roster spot on that position.
  21. Looks like he was transplanted straight out of a 1970’s porn film
  22. Ryan Shazier is an extremely rare example that has happened a handful of times in the history of football. He was also under contract, not holding out. The true examples would be Earl Thomas and Le’Veon Bell. Thomas held out but ultimately caved and then got injured. Not just a small injury, a season ending injury. Guess what it cost him? Nothing. He still received his franchise tag salary and received a market value contract. He would have received the same contract regardless. Contrast that with Bell who held out and received less gtd money than Pitt was offering anyways. I would say it worked out better for the guy who didn’t hold out. If Clowney was that worried about it he can sign the tag, take his 15+ million and put some of it to an insurance policy through Lloyd’s of London. That way if he suffered the incredibly rare career ending injury on the tag his insurance would pick up the tab.
