I’m obviously not very familiar with the area, but the initial reports stated high winds as the cause. Yet the reports list the wind gusts as 30MPH. Are those actually high in that part of the world? That certainly isn’t exceptionally high in the Northeast US

I really don’t feel there is any comparison here at all. I never had high expectations for the Sabres this season. The division was always going to be a bloodbath, the goaltending and defense were always shaky. I did expect the offense to be better, but they really just had Jack and Hall as proven commodities. Things happen, but the Sabres had absolutely no where near the expectations that the Bills will have, for good reason. This parallel would be more comparable if this happened to say, the Tampa Bay Lightning.

I think turning down a Baltimore deal reflects more on the quality of QB. Agree on the Chiefs. Would rather be 3rd in targets from Mahomes than 1st from a broken Big Ben.

Anyone who watches Eagles games have any insight on this guy? All I remember is one year he is a top 3 TE in the league and the next he isn’t even close. Can he still play at a high level? A consequence of poor QB play with the Eagles last season? If it’s a big enough splash to convert someone, has to be more than Ertz and Emmanuel Sanders, right?

I’m a big fan of this rule. While winning the game in the final minute shouldn’t be likely, it also should be impossible. Id also argue there’s far more luck than skill involved in the current onside kick format. Changing it to 4th and 15 shifts the needle closer to skill. But the reason of the rule would be to make it less impossible than an onside kick, not more. 4th and 25 and you might as well keep the current format. They didn’t arbitrarily pull the 15 yards out of thin air. It has very similar conversion percentages of the old onside kick I believe.

I saw they were still closed last time I was downtown. Was a bit surprised they aren’t re-opening. I think restaurants can have 50% capacity now? Their rent has to be sky high, you would think they want to make at least some of it back.
