  1. Yeah straight up ego, there should be no resistance. Let him Cook for 346 yards or whatever. This offense is James Cook
  2. Dalton’s body language and extreme apologism is…not what you’d expect from a 15 year vet. We got problems but this is bagged up if Joe doesn’t give it away on offense
  3. We’re gonna need an 1800+ season from Cook to make the dream work. Not impossible at all, just saying
  4. lol Brady punching himself in the face like he took a pill in Toronto last night, wtf Joe
  5. Yup, embrace it. Career year, it’ll work out
  6. Offense needs to run through Cook more than Allen right now. Get the W and let the passing offense try to figure it out (maybe), but Cook needs like 1800 yards this year. He is the only one showing anything
  7. There was no chance on that, he was untouched
  8. James Cook day incoming. Always feed Cook
  9. Ugh that sucks man, incredibly sad. just heard about his kidney issues like a week ago. RIP Nick
  10. lol jesus full pucker if Josh has a bad game / sideline stares into oblivion
  11. Bills - 37 Panthers - 33 Chuba/Dowdle go over 200+ and everything seems terrible but the better team squeaks it
  12. Is Fat Harry's still the best place in New Orleans to catch a game? Didn't feel worthy of a new a thread so I'll just dump it here
  13. I feel like you conflated my post with several others as I mentioned nothing of a first round pick, etc. Times have also changed. You don't like it, and I don't really like it, but it don't stop them from changing. It's not entirely uncommon now for very skilled players to go into shell-mode because of their surroundings. Trevor Lawrence absolutely sucks. He was heralded as a Josh alternative years ago which was insanity - he's maybe bottom 5 in the league. He is simply not progressing. He is worse than he was and he was never good. So yes, I understand the current concept of skill players, that are young, healthy, and had all of the attributes coming out of college, not wanting to go all out for a poor situation. It's a relatively new phenomenon but it's not unique. Maybe he just doesn't want to play in London 2+ times a year, etc. The Jags are a bit of a dumpster fire. Dumpster fires create unhappy players that excel elsewhere. This isn't new.
  14. Trevor Lawrence sucks and has sucked. That's the primary issue with BTJ. Some have been calling this for years. OI' late 80s Beauty and the Beast show looking ass. So yes, this is a priority. Agree with the posters who said you do whatever's possible. I also don't really understand the mid-thread MHJ detour, but yes, considering the state of this offense right now, you'd also go after him if possible, but BTJ is preferable. Very fair but the likeliest scenario is that he has a terrible bonehead QB and is simply thinking of self-preservation. Josh could be all he needs.
  15. Just throwing out some JC stats brother. I think he’s actually one of the uniquely talented backs to take that many touches right now, they need to rely on him more. We’re on the same page, I just think they need to go into Cook overload. 1800+ Cook yards. Now
  16. He turned his 17 carries tonight into 81 yards. An incredibly solid 5.1. Feed him more. He went overlooked and yet showed a new side of his talent tonight - what Chiefs fans want Pacheco to be. Available and chain moving I don’t think you’re allowed to doubt James Cook at this point, and said that 30 TD ago. Run the offense through him, let Josh get right.
  17. Fully agree, just noting that he actually touched the ball in line with norms. They just didn’t use him right we’re in agreement - you have to make teams respect James Cook. More for the Brady fire really. He called a terrible game.
  18. He had 17 carries which is actually a bit over his norm of 15 throughout prior games this season and both are higher than his 13 or so carries per game last year. I want the offense to run through him more and really wish he was involved in passing which has all but disappeared, but we gotta get our Cook facts straight - they are running him more right now.
  19. Big boy out there, hope his intensity spreads. Some of these vets lack juice
  20. Agree with all great write up I think it’s worth extending Groot’s futility to AJ as the two combined are anything but consistent. They have a combined 9 seasons in the league now and the media still treats them as like up and coming? Any time they make a splash play it’s treated as unique and not like something that they should be doing regularly. They’re the present and we’ve unfortunately probably seen their ceiling, which is infuriating.
  21. There’s still hope for Kincaid, he’s been great early on. Think his improved blocking is even required for the Cook spice. This is necessary to call out for the Beane equation because Beane’s been docked for Kincaid recently. Kincaids slight ascension is probably nullified by Groot’s disappearance however, leaving Beane without Allen as middling chaotic neutral. Probably C+ without Allen. Not awful, not SB guarantee
  22. McDermott ending the post game with an “alright thank you man” lmao I know this is petty I just hadn’t heard the “man” sign-off before
  23. How is this post game just now comparing Bijan Robinson to the elite? He had 1400 yards last year and was blue chip coming out, he’s supposed to be this good. It’s not at all surprising
  24. Also an optimist and I got nothing. Josh looking pale in the post game, looking like I feel. No idea what we do here
  25. Even Herm Edwards gets it, calling out WR and d-line
