Don’t hate it but pretty sure Alec threw a punch too, lucky he’s still playing -
Broncos, Ravens, Chiefs - Can the Bills run through this gauntlet.

I feel like this board has overrated Denver since Manning. I remember when they were a playoff pick darling right before Russ decided to only cook hot dogs and ramen and they ended up being one of the worst teams in the AFC. They really don’t have a good run game, ranked bottom third now past few weeks. Javonte Williams took a step back and Estime is meh. Take away Bo’s scrambles and they’re bottom of the barrel in that category. All that to say yes. KC kind of has the injury bug this year and I would not be shocked by an earlier than normal dismissal. -

Even S&BD flummoxed by James Cook. Is he just good, or like really really Thurman good? And does it even change anything with Josh? I think it’s an interesting conversation now that we’ve rinsed how incredible Josh is. Cook has 16 total touchdowns right now. This isn’t normal. -

The Shakir reception line was 4.5. Sheesh. Sha-queesh. Good thing I finished Christmas shopping He’ll get it together because this was the outlier…but any notes on if he’s hurt or anything weird? -
Lamar didn’t do much either. Kind of a no movement weekend unless Saquon and Henry for that matter keeping tossing up 150+ yard games
-
James Top 5 Cook doing his best Priest Holmes impression. Man may get 20 TDs this year, really incredible for a variety of reasons Bass yup
-
It did but the “we’re in trouble” weirdos forgot or seemingly jumped ahead of the most important point: we won Incredibly easy game to actually sleepwalk. Very much a W is a W scenario, really not the least bit concerned

Got flamed pretty good last week for saying that Cook is a current top 5 and that anything less is preseason thinking. Atta boy James -
He got carted for cramps? He was on the cart right, maybe I’m imagining things but I distinctly remember thinking he looked 14 on the cart
-
I think James Cook is a current top 5 running back in the league, yes. You’re the one arguing Kenneth Walker’s history. Anyway
-
lol delusional. This took quite a turn. Don’t ever rank running backs in the presence of Yoda Also 3 years, not this year. Live in the now Yods
-
He has more TDs than several that you mentioned and is now something like top 3 in yards per touch of all backs past several years, but yeah Kenneth Walker lmao this is kind of my point. Cook is putting up top 5 numbers, this isn’t just me, and the response is still a tepid “eh not bad, top 15”. I don’t think that’s accurate anymore
-
Of backs in the league? I’m sorry but there’s no way there are 12 running backs better than James Cook right now. He has 12 TDs and looks like AFC prime Kamara.

McDermott deserves praise for JA’s career year

Did McD get him to break up with that instagram girlfriend? Well played, Sean -
He’s still underrated. Just look at the “it’s still all Josh Allen” thread. Josh is incredible and having his best year ever, but Cook is also a top 5 back. Top 2-3 in the AFC? That helps too, ask Thurman
-
James Cook is a top 5 back that seems to only be getting better and yet he still somehow feels underrated. Here and everywhere.

Detroit in their house was going to score some points. I don’t think the late game drama was enough to take one away from Oliver who was a force early and often. That rhino charge over Ragnow was incredible. Also Taron, Ty Johnson of course. All the automatics earned it
-
He didn’t put his cape on so much as consistently beat them down early and often, only for the D to almost let it slip. He’s easily playing best of his career, but yeah agree with the overall point
