  1. Thanks everyone ! Sorry if I may have violated a posting rule. I’m nearly 67 years old. I’ll use that as an excuse Thanks !!!!!
  2. Sorry if this has already been asked. My son in law, daughter, and twelve year old grandson are going to be at the game. Are there any tailgate locations they should be aware of before the game? We’re from Wyoming and saw Josh play at UW. Everyone is excited !!
  3. As a Josh Allen and Bills fan from Wyoming I can say he is "must watch" here, and not just in WNY or or among hardcore fans. However I also have to admit that given our small population, the sample size is low. This Sunday could make a difference in the number of interested Josh Allen fans, but as far as I'm concerned, for those who don't follow his career, it's their loss.
  4. I live in the other side of Wyoming, the northeast side. Near Custer’s rash decision:). I became a Bills fan the moment Josh Allen was drafted by Buffalo.
  5. I’d love to do the same, but I haven’t got a clue how to put down a bet. I don’t live in Vegas, do I have to find the nearest sports book? Any advice? And don’t tell me to “move.” I live in Wyoming....God’s country
  6. As a resident of the state with the smallest population, most of the national sports media, with the exception of Adam Schein, think if it didn’t happen in Boston, New York, L.A., or the S.E.C...it didn’t happen. Screw ‘em. The Buffalo Bills will make the playoffs in 2019...mark it down.
  7. Hopefully he’s working on them now. I love JA, and I hope he’s taking all the advantages during the off season to learn and improve. It’s not like there’s any pressure on the guy, right ?
  8. Luckily, I'm retired so I plan on watching it until, oh...about dinner time.. I don't know if Allen is going to be great, but the kid is the first quarterback since Elway who makes me want to see more. Can't wait for 2019 season!!!
  9. Overly optimistic, but not impossible. The idea that a team can turn it around after a losing season isn’t a pipe dream. They’re signing up some solid FA, and the draft still to come. Next season could be 13-3, or 8-8. Time will tell.
  10. Beane did his job. Brown came face-to-face with reality...a team that wanted to trade for him not named the San Francisco 49ers.
  11. Agreed. Chubb is an outstanding defensive player, at least one year in. But in my mind the most difficult position to fill in football is quarterback, and Denver/Elway absolutely blew it last year. He was 2 hours south of Josh Allen for God’s sake!!!
  12. This is remarkably researched, and I LOVE Josh Allen. I watched him play in Laramie and have been able to watch much of his pro career on tv so far. The bottom line is...Josh Allen is an inaccurate. passer. There's really no debate on that subject. However, with the addition of competent interior linemen and possession receivers, he can reach 60%-65% completion percentage...the magic number according to most analytic experts. But in my mind his completion percentage should carry less weight than most, because Allen's completions have game changing potential. That's just me, though. The bottom line is, Allen's numbers do need to improve to satisfy the skeptics.
  13. Rosen is a pure passer but isn’t very mobile. The Oklahoma QB is fast, mobile, and I’ve read he’s pretty accurate, but very small for the position. Pick your poison.
  14. It doesn’t matter to me if Darnold is considered by the national media to be the Boy Wonder QB of the NFL. I don’t suppose Allen pays any attention to the national media’s wishful, wanderlust opinions. He’s had to deal with the second guessing ever since Wyoming. What else is new.
  15. Josh Allen is a beast. Next season starts tomorrow, right??
  16. As a Wyoming resident I’m biased, but I strongly supported Buffalo drafting Allen. Give him a couple years and, hopefully, better protection and weapons...you ain’t seen nothing yet:)
  17. Josh Allen will be a good NFL quarterback. I live in Wyoming and attended most of his home games. I'm certainly not an expert at football, (or posting on these boards:) We won't know how good for three years or so, at least that's what the "experts" say. The accuracy issue is something that will dog Allen his whole professional career. It doesn't seem to be an issue when the media experts talk about the other new qbs. Allen's completion percentage is at 53%. Josh Rosen is at 54%. Lamar Jackson is at 59%, and Baker Mayfield is currently at 63%. All are better then JA, but no one's burning up the charts. Give him time.
  18. Are there existing statistics, regarding any NFL quarterback’s passing stats, that separate out dropped passes from incomplete passes ? I read that “dropped vs incomplete” pass argument often about Josh Allen’s completion percentage on TBD, but I suppose this could apply to any quarterback. Just wondering.
  19. Abdullah looked like a decent draft pick by Detroit, but, as a long suffering Lions fan, it soon became apparent that he can’t break a tackle. His penchant for fumbling is another issue. Having said that, the Bills might be able to pick him up pretty cheaply.
  20. As a almost lifetime resident of Wyoming, I'm one of the lucky few who have seen Josh Allen play in person. Will he be a bust? Maybe, but don't bet against him. Allen has dealt with non-believers his entire football career. He wasn't coddled, he wasn't given special treatment. Hell, he had to play football at Wyoming because no one else was interested. The Buffalo Bills drafted a tough, athletic, intelligent football player with a giant chip on his shoulder and an intense drive to prove the doubters wrong.
