NFL Week # 16 - Bills at Bears - post game thread
NI Bills Fan replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good win after a shaky start. Very nice smooth running by James Cook, appreciate it may have been against light boxes but lots to be encouraged about with Cook recently I think. Also like the challenge by McD at a fairly key point in the game. I lost audio for a while, what is the injury situation? I saw both Bates and Jordan Phillips sidelined, have they reaggravated their injuries? -
Ho Ho Holy macaroni happy gameday!
NI Bills Fan replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
Happy game day. Although I thought this was another Italian themed thread and must say I'm very disappointed. 😄 -
Merry Christmas Italian Bills Mafia! Forza Buffalo!
NI Bills Fan replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Excellent! Hoping our very own 'Italian Bills' was featured in that video. I'm sure he'll let us know soon enough. Go Bills! Forza Buffalo!! -
Josh Allen gifts custom scooters to the oline
NI Bills Fan replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
🤔I think what Josh is saying here is ... "You've been on skates all season guys, might as well try a scooter too" Very passive aggressive. 😄 -
While we are chatting about the booth ... who is the guy who sits next to Dorsey with the beard? thanks.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all across the pond. Hoping you all have a great day, with full bellies and a big fat W for dessert. Go Bills! -
"Frustrated by a missed roughing the passer call, Josh Allen delivers a back flip roundhouse kick at a referee. The incident was missed by refs and the touchdown stood"
-
Seems like we got better and gave up very little in doing so. Plus the frustration that was Zack Moss is no longer here. Wasn't expecting anything to happen today so pleased with this outcome. Excited to see more speed put to use in this offence. Roll on Sunday.

Have you tried bringing the armchair out to the yard? (Sorry Italian Bills... I couldn't resist that one!)

Pretty simple really... NI Bills Fan, as in Northern Ireland Bills Fan. Born and raised in Northern Ireland and became hooked on the Bills in 1990 when I was 11 years of age. Much in part due to playing John Madden on the Sega Megadrive console and the NFL was well covered at the time in the UK on Channel 4. I didn't join this board until a few years ago and would just like to thank you all... My fandom, enjoyment and knowledge of the game has increased since reading all you guys argue, sorry converse about this great sport. 😉😅

What a superb victory. Take a bow Josh Allen, Von Miller, Stefon Diggs, Devin Singletary and Taron Johnson. Top of the conference standings Tiebreakers over the Chiefs, Ravens and Titans Beat the Chiefs 2 out the last 3 matchups (all on the road) Won 2 one score games in a row to kill that daft narrative. They'll enjoy that bye week. Bring on a poor looking Packers at home. Go Bills!

GMFB Is Better Without Kay Adams
NI Bills Fan replied to ProcessAccepted's topic in The Stadium Wall
The new GMFB crew, including Jamie took a while to gel for me, which was understandable given the limited amount of content they had to work with in the offseason. 3 hours or whatever it is is hard to fill without having games to review or build up to. I found myself watching only snippets of shows. The show, and the crew, have improved since the season started now that they have some actual games to talk about. Doesn't hurt that the Bills get a fair bit of coverage these days too! Jamie does seem to have some good knowledge and is more than just a host that directs the conversation. -
Maybe so, I was wondering was there a rule I wasn't aware of that prevented them using the center. Plus a couple of the TE's snaps were so poor (high) I thought they would have tried another option. Back to your thought, and I'm coming at this from a perspective of someone who has only snapped a ball in my back garden to an 8 year old! ... is long snapping so very different than what a center does on offence? (serious question)
-
Please excuse the novice question here, but this puzzled me last night during the Steelers vs Bengals game: I know the Bengals long snapper was injured and they used (I think) a TE to snap for the field goals, which didn't go so well and negatively impacted the kicking operation. So, my question is, why did they not just use their Center to snap on special teams instead of the TE? Surely that would have been a better option? Thanks in advance. 👍

I can't believe we've reached almost 3 pages and nobody has suggested paring him with Ed Oliver as the opposite DE as yet! We'd be unstoppable then! ...(runs for cover!)
-
Thanks for posting all the updates guys. Much appreciated. Seems like a great night in OP... and it sounds like no injuries as far as I can tell. Go Bills! That '13 Seconds' jersey? Disgusting... can't get my head around that one at all. I can't even watch it never mind wear it.

The Locked on Bills (with Joe Marino) podcast tomorrow is on the topic of Tremaine Edmunds. I'm guessing it will be similar to the Levi Wallace episode this time last year where he tries to provide a balanced view (backed up by stats etc.) of a player that divides opinion among Bills fans in the hope of highlighting how important/effective a player he is to the team. I'd say it will be worth a listen and may (or may not!) spark some interesting conversation on this thread.

If I'd have known this is what they meant by a 'receiving' back I'd have stayed in Miami!
