The playoff schedule was determined less than a week ago. Seems like they could’ve checked the weather report. Plus the other game is in dome. It is not like it is two outdoor games in northeast and/or upper mid west. They had all the flexibility in the world.

I don’t feel sorry for anyone but it seems the NFL could have used some common sense and made this game the early game so that there is some sun.

It would not shock me one bit if Miami finds a way to win. Want them to lose though. Prefer Browns going against the Ravens next week. Assuming Browns win.

The swearing seems unnatural and excessive. Just like the Jets D coordinator, MM should tone it down. You hit the nail on the head. He is trying too hard to be cool. It is almost like a fan won a contest and got the HC job. MM is trying to impress the players with his tough talk, cheering in practice and be their buddy. Like I said in another thread about HK, I do think it has to be hard to come up with stuff to say to professional football players, especially veterans, week in and week out to get them motivated. I don’t envy coaches unless they get fired and receive a huge buy-out. 😀 I wonder if MM would make a really good OC. He can be the good cop and focus on game planning. Let the HC be the bad cop.

Hate to say it but I want the Chiefs to win. Rather see a Cleveland/Baltimore blood bath in the Divisional round rather than having the Browns come to OP. The entertainment value will be sky high for both games. I think the Browns have the best chance to knock off the Ravens. Also, this is the script the NFL wants so it is etched in stone.

I agree. The last time KC was in OP was that stupid Covid game. Chiefs had an empty stadium.
