Starting to worry about Brown, Knox, Milano. Not sure we'll NEED them against the Jets, but I do think we will need them for the Pats (they may be down, but they seem to never really be out). Hoping if these guys are off this week they are good to go for the Pats and onward.
Tough one this week. The Bills are in freefall so they'll need to bring it on Sunday. Losing to the Jets this year would be the all-time, Hall of Fame Billsy outcome. So, I guess we can't discount it yet.
I did let it go. You started it pal. You quoted my comment to begin with. Move along enthusiast.
Yes we will be powerhouses once again after beating the Jets lol.
Those were certainly alarming...but be real...the overly concerning issue isn't personal fouls overall...its the fact that this D cannot stop anyone consistently (3rd down D is atrocious). We have literally no shot against even middling teams unless our O is lights out...which they apparently can't do anymore. On O we can't run or pass anymore. Couple that with our god awful D, we are in serious trouble. Its fun to look at 4-2 and be happy but there are some serious bruisers on our schedule and these last two weeks have been terrifying when thinking of the upcoming gauntlet.
What about against the Titans? And the Dolphins (remember we had to actually come back to win that game), and the Rams (remember we gave up 29 straight)? Where do those teams rank, if the Chiefs are the best in the NFL, it should be concerning that the majority of the teams we have played thus far are also scoring at will on us.
Unfortunately, it seems like a tall task for them to figure it out. This D, along with Allen's regression and poor offensive playcalling lately will likely be our undoing.
CAN he though? Seems maybe he can't. This defense is so mentally weak, outmatched, and just porous every game this year. Our O couple with mostly mid-level teams early on bailed out the team. We're seeing now what happens when we play good teams. Same as last year...Ravens, Pats X2...kept it close-ish but just no resolve at the end.
I'm not sure I would expect a victory over the Pats. Billy boy can own our Offense at this point. Our D can't stop the run, or pass. So, we might have to hope other teams do the dirty work for us and give the Pats enough losses for us to get the division.
You are right. Passing yards are not the sole reason for determining QB play. How about:
4.5 yards per attempt;
73.4 rating; and
52% completion percentage
He is regressing to his floor, which is troubling. Believe it, or don't, but the book this year is out on Allen and you can bet your bottom dollar D coordinators are going to mimic last week and this week and we are in trouble.
A "C"? Come on. He had barely 150 yards passing (in an entire NFL game...in 2020), struggled mightily to move the ball early to mid-game when our D was actually keeping us in the game. Allen has seemed to regress and is so spotty and frantic/shy. I think he is rattled at this point. He gets a good "rebound" game against the Jets this week, but that is what this team is...beat the garbage teams, hang with the OK teams, and get spanked by the very good teams.
He also has a brain, lungs, spleen, kidneys, etc., etc. But he has seriously regressed. He doesn't seem to be comfortable the last 2 weeks. Could be we played good teams. We might have a front runner "franchise QB".
