I think Allen "complains" a lot to the refs after he gets hit when sliding or "roughed" (and by complaining, he usually looks at them and puts his hands up (aside from the personal foul against the Rams for yelling at the refs lol)). Seems he might not get some calls because of his size maybe (big strapping lad and maybe a thought from the refs of "hey, if you're going to run, that's what happens"). Not sure. I remember there was that time a few years back where Ed Biceps said to Cam Newton something to the effect of "you're not old enough to get that call" (obviously, not size related, but still a weird, biased view from a ref).

Oh, is that what people are doing? I hadn't seen where anyone was thinking getting swept by this year's Patriots was being "tolerated" by anyone. How mad will you be when the Bills win Sunday? Like, really, really mad?

Have to re-watch the Jets game. Anyone recall when this might have occurred? Hope he is back and healthy soon.

I had heard that previously...does anyone know why? Can't imagine it gives that much of an unfair advantage (if it helps block out sunlight, I guess all players would have the option to do it). This seems like you are possibly just creating this unwinnable scenario so your feelings/emotions are protected if the Bills lose. The Patriots have had the Bills number for the last 20 years, sure. But this year, is this year.

Thought this was interesting: based on ESPN.com stats (this is a check I did myself, so no link), the Patriots have a combined 2,191 yards of offense this year. Josh Allen has 2,222 himself.

It'll be interesting to see if the Bills D game-plan is similar to the Chiefs game-plan to basically take away (in this case) the running game and make Cam and the relatively ineffective Pats passing game beat us. On O, having Brown back healthy would be a huge lift. We were super competitive in both games last year against the Pats and just came up short. And that was with the Pats having all their defensive starters. My gut says don't be too confident, but my mind and looking at the state of each team's rosters has me saying we take this! Probably a "stop the bleeding and let's not destroy this guy's confidence" move by Billy boy.

Interesting thought. But I think they just suck ass this year. In my own head I almost nailed this. I said the Bills will be -3 at home. Amazing how much name recognition carries some teams.
