Beane's construction of this roster

You might need a tad bit more than just hope. -
He's a known/outed troll. He just is never happy and wants to see the Bills lose no matter what. After every win he seems to update his win/loss prediction by 1 win. Just moving the goal posts to fit his narrative.

How were we lucky to win? Zimmer almost certainly intended to punch that ball out. That's called good...not lucky. Lucky is Gabriel Davis not catching the TD on the previous Bills O drive when it hit him square in the hands and we've seen him make wayyy tougher catches this year. See the difference? Look, I hate it as much as the next guy that we are 6-2 overall and 4-0 in the division...but if we just wish and hope hard enough, we'll start losing these close games and we can all be....happy again? Wait, now I'm confused as to what we should want as fans.

An ugly win is better then a beautiful loss

Exactly. I know they were 2-4 (now 2-5 hahahaha) but they were clearly determined and locked in for this game (surprise onside kick anyone). It feels amazing to (hopefully) drive the stake through their hearts (this being the day after Halloween and all!) and slaying the beast. We've beat them here and there in the past but this one matters more than most. Burying them in the standings, slaying some mental demons perhaps for McD and Allen. You would think some jokers on here would be happier if we had lost. It boggles the mind. -

Doubling down. What a stud! I love that you are THIS mad that "your favorite team" won today. Trolling at its worst. -
Bills 24, Pats* 21 Game Balls!!
Johnnycage46 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Do NOT care HOW we won this (and yes, it was good fortune on a good football play that sealed it), but we WON it...against the Belichick and the Pats in a game they absolutely NEEDED and blew it. How many times have the Bills blown these games against the Pats? I'll take it and I am PUMPED!! -

This times a million. I would have loved to destroy the Pats but honestly, this is better. Remember alllllll the Bills/Pats games that ended in "almost" wins for us...this kind of loss for the Pats hurts more. We are 6-2 and to have things to work on is better than being 5-3 and have things to work on. GOOOOO BILLLLLLSSSSS!!!!!! -

How about for Zimmer?!?!? Dude made THE play of the game. -
It WAS fortunate...but it was also forced. It was a solid ass football play. 6-2. I'll take it any way we can get it. I know we have a TON to work on, but would you rather win today and have things to work on, or lose and have things to work on? I will take the win always. Go Bills!

Gameday Thread PreGame Week 8 Bills vs Patriots

One positive with the weather (at least with the rain and wet field) is that we had a tough weather game against KC very recently so hopefully that is some good practice for our guys. -

Looking at the radar, it looks like the rain will taper about kick-off or maybe 2nd quarter. Wind looks crazy. Still think regardless of the weather, we are the more talented team and we'll get it done. Let's do this! -
True. The Kroft one seemed completely made up.
-
Good point lol. The Kroft "INT" was ridiculous.
-
Could even go *5 with the first INT against the Titans bouncing off of Roberts hands (not the best pass but really more of a fluky INT).
-
The good news is this will limit or even negate Pats passing game. I think we sell out on the run and dare them to beat us with their bad receivers and declining Cam. I think the underneath throws and shorter crossing routes will still be in play for us as well.
-
Yeah, I guess that is probably the right approach. Once we get a few under our belt, it'll be easier to expect to compete/win these games.
-
Good point on the wind. Hopefully Joshy's short game is on point. That will also be a key. It would also be great to get a few turnovers from our D with some short fields. The kicking game should be mighty interesting as well lol.
-
I don't know if they have the personnel to shut down our passing game (this is largely dependent on John Brown playing healthy). Been reading a lot about the Patriots struggles with motion. Hopefully we can work that in to help the run game.
-
I swear we've seen players not practice until like Friday and get cleared to play after concussion protocol. I guess if he is out, it's better that the coaches are certain of it earlier in the week than later in the week so the backup can get more 1st team reps.
-
Those are good examples. That's where I'm at with this week. On Monday I was pretty confident, but the more thought I give it I think we would have been better off catching them last week instead of after 3 straight losses. McDaniels' offense can be pretty creative as well so that concerns me that the Patriots coaching staff is going to be throwing everything they can and seeing what sticks. Add in the crappy weather (like that damn Eagles game last year) and my confidence is starting to waver lol.

https://www.radio.com/wgr550/sports/bills/patriots-devin-mccourty-doesnt-think-theyre-still-team-to-beat-in-afc-east I think we're going to get the Patriots best shot of the season Sunday. Just reading what Devin McCourty said about how he doesn't think the Patriots are currently the team to beat, that their backs are against the wall, etc. I don't think I've ever seen a team that is better coached on creating motivation. I recall when the Patriots were in the midst of their undefeated season, some players kept saying how they weren't being respected (which was utter hogwash). Now I do know that this Patriots team is very short handed and has not been playing well, along with the fact that the Bills ARE the more talented team, but I think considering the desperation the Patriots seem to have right now, this game might be another nail biter.

The Basin lacation slices are fantastic. Work in the Basin (now from home) and we would get slices every couple weeks there. Real solid.
