I have totally tuned out to mock drafts so far this offseason… The ones that occur before free agency are certainly a complete waste of time in my view.. But now that FA is all but over… I might start doing a bit of research before the draft…not much else NFL wise happening …

I think Beane is back shopping if Bates walks…he has $2.3 M to spend if he doesn’t have to pay this to Bates which is probably enough to sign two more bargain bin types like this guy…

I understand the Browns only paid his $1M roster bonus a few days ago which is seperate to his salary… As to why he agreed to come to Buffalo for less money… perhaps at this stage of his career he is looking to be on a team that can win the championship… also he figures he may be able to sign again at Buffalo in 2023 if things go well…

I agree that you would always want a more verstile player... but the question is who is still available and how much... Im sure Crowder's cap hit will be minimal this year.. he should be a value for money signing if he stays on the field

"Up to $4M" probably means a cap hit of $2.25M... I think Beane has made some great moves this offseason... Guess it helps though having JA and the way he played the back part of the season... Crowder is a quality player that Josh can utilise to the fullest off his talent... Obviously his injury history is the question mark but fingers crossed there... still only 28

No.. Barkley jumped the shark when he was here the last time… I don’t want him anywhere near the field on game day… If he wants to work a gazillion hours doing film study and other leg work that Davis Webb did from the practice squad then I’m fine with that… And what “trade bait” is Keenum going to get you anyway? He just went for a 7th and Cleveland had to tip in some money to make that work…
